WORK EXPERIENCE INVENTORY & SALES ASSOCIATE, CG PHONES
November 2012 current
Responsible for purchasing all necessary parts for merchandise (smart
phones) prior to sale. Maintain company website, inputting and updating
product availability. Responsibilities include researching best places to
purchase parts, communicating with our parts suppliers, invoicing, and
training new employees.
I began this job when the company was a three-person business; the
company has since expanded to over 20 employees. Over the past year and
a half, I researched and developed our supply network and created the
logistical system now used for smart phones with missing parts.
VOLUNTEER
EXPERIENCE
DOCTORS SHADOW, SINAI HOSPITAL (RUBIN INSTITUE FOR ADVANCED ORTHOPEDICS)
November 2013- current
Shadow an advanced orthopedic team in Sinai hospital 16 hours per week. Time is divided
between O.R., in-patient rooms, and the orthopedic clinic. I have observed many advanced
orthopedic surgeries, post-op care, and new patient consultations. I have also shadowed on
the neuro floor, the ICU, the E.R., and the pediatric E.R.
This experience has given me a familiarity with medical terminology, SOAP notes and
proper documentation of medical history, and basic hospital protocol. Shadowing in the
hospital has made me realize the extent of my passion for medicine and my thirst to learn
more. I particularly enjoy the fast-pace and stimulation of the E.R.
VOLUNTEER, CAMP SIMCHA-CHAI LIFELINE
Summers 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
Volunteered four summers in camp for children with cancer. Worked as a photographer and
photo editor, photographing the children during camp and editing, organizing and
compiling the photos into an individualized portfolio for every family. I also spent an hour
each day working one-on-one with different campers.
I love Camp Simcha and interacting with these sick children. Volunteering there taught me
how important it is to treat a patient as a person. I learned I can stay up all night working

and still function well the next day. It also taught me how to multitask and focus on the task
at hand, even in a loud, distracting environment.
