Description
The Meridian Wiper seal - type 0098 is a new design of medium duty double lip wiper seal. The
primary wiping lip ensures that debris and moisture is wiped from the piston rod, whereas the
secondary sealing lip ensures that the oil film left by the piston rod seal is completely removed
from the piston rod.

Application
The Meridian Wiper seal - type 0098, is intended for hydraulic cylinders subject to medium duty
applications in mobile, materail handling and construction machinery. The O Ring used in the
design is particularly good at stopping leakage due to piston rod misalignment.
