1. My Arrival
My name is Jasmine Rivera-Cullen and I am 17 years old. I live in
the small town of Forks, Washington, and I live with my foster parents, the
Cullens. My enterance into the world of the Cullens is slightly complicated.
I was born in 1958, in Spain. I lived with my two alcholic parents,
Maria and Jose. Both Maria and Jose had met at a bar, and I was born
unexpectedly. I was told by everyone that I was very beautiful, as Maria was
one of the most gorgeous women in town. Long black hair, sapphire-blue
eyes, and pale skin were her main features and soon became mine as well.
Soon, Maria and Jose got into a fight and got divorced. By that time I
was 15 years old and was beginning to realize I had no place in the world, as
I was not wanted. Jose was the one who (slightly) cared about me and it was
decided that I was going to live with him, as Maria had no intention of
having me living with her.
When I turned 16, Jose died of cancer. I tried to contact Maria, but
many people told me she had fled the country with some unknown French
man.
All I could do to survive was either get married or become a servant
girl. I chose the servant girl option, since that was best for me at this point.
I advertised around town and got a job at the Ross family's estate,
caring for their children. That was a mistake, because soon I realized that the
Ross family was very, very cruel. They only seemed to care about
themselves, not giving their servants enough to eat.
[Still] At 16, I decided that my only last choice was to kill myself. I
gathered enough money from the Rosses to quit, and decided to live on my
own. On the night I turned 17, I made my decision: I was going to suicide
tonight.
 On the way to my destinaton (an enormous cliff), I fainted in the
middle of the road. A car ran over me, and I was left to die.
Thankfully, Dr. Cullen was around, and took me to the hospital. He
then turned me into a vampire.
The change from human to vampire was so intense I could only
scream and cry of the pain. I felt as if someone had released fire into my
body, making it burn continously.
In fact, the pain was so searing, I can't even describe it.
When I woke up two days later, I was a whole new person. Carlisle
explained to me what had happened (I didn't remember anything ever since I
fainted) and he told me all I needed to know about being a "vegetarian"
vampire.
Much to my surprise, I was still the same person, just way paler, and
with bright topaz-golden eyes. I was also immortal, and I was going to be 17
forever (unless someone killed me). I even had a special power: I could
sense what people wanted. I had always wanted to please people in my
mortal life, and I got what I wanted in my new one.
After Carlisle decided I was normal enough to leave the
hospital, he drove me to the big home he and his family lived in.
I met Edward, Rosalie, Alice, Emmett, Jasper, and Esme.
Rosalie and I soon became best friends, with Alice as my close
second. Life with the Cullens was fascinating and I began to feel loved.

The Cullens were only on vacation in Spain, so we had to go back to

their hometown, Forks, Washington.
Rosalie told me a brief description about their extordinary glass
mansion in smalltown Forks, and when we arrived I realized that their home
was everything Rosalie had described to me, plus more.
Our home was beautiful, and far away from the rest of the city, so we
could be ourselves without being noticed.
And so that brings me to the point that I am today.

(I really don't want my story to seem as if it's like
another Twilight book all over again. I have read some
of those in the past on this website, and they seemed
really stupid and plagarus. If you think I am, though,
please comment below. Also, leave some story ideas for
the future... I have some brief idea of what I'm going to
do, but I want some stuff to entertain my readers in the
middle!)
