Testona
It was a century ago...
...and I was an art teacher in a junior high school.
Every summer, when holidaying around, I would
make some beautiful drawings and waterpaintings
and I would send them to my lovely students.
Thanks to Aurora Rapalino for keeping one of those
(special) memories
(in a different way, to get to see one of these, it is
for me like entering a time machine)

C-fabriek
C-Fabriek
C-Fabriek
is a collection of young designers reclaiming
control over their creations. Within an empty
factory in Eindhoven they create their individual
production line, machines, tools and products; re-
establishing a relationship with their audience.
The C-Fabriek is a studio / workplace / museum /
gallery / shop.
A place where designers work and create, but
also, present their processes and methods to the
public. By doing so they suggest alternatives to
industrialization, production and consumption.

Kindle'voke Ghost Writers
This is a very nice project (thanks to Marco

KINDLE'VOKE GHOST WRITERS.
A project by TRAUMAWIEN and Bernhard Bauch.
2011-2012.
Our bots are compiling and uploading hundreds of
ebooks on Amazon.com with text stolen from the
comments on YouTube videos.
We programmed the bots to be completely
autonomous. They are working uninterrupted
through dislocated, anonymized accounts. We are
not even able to track the exact amount of
generated books infiltrating the Amazon Kindle
library. The results are self-published, human-
readable ebooks in form of classical dramas ready
to be sold and enjoyed by a multitude of global
readers, defining a new

I am happy to announce that, starting October
28th, I will conduct a new workshop: a six-week
Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) about
infographics and data visualization through the
Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas.
This program is a variation of other
workshops/courses I've done with the Knight
Center in the past; those had a limited amount of
students. In this case, the course will be offerend
in English and it's free. I created it with journalists
and designers in mind, but it can be helpful to
anybody interested in learning the theory and
practice of information graphics.
