How Etray works
Etray is a dynamic exercise that helps
you assess an individuals ability to apply
work-related problem solving skills whilst
under time pressure.
The participant is asked to select their
chosen responses to emails, dealing with
the contents of their inbox as well as new
messages that arrive throughout the exercise.
The individuals responses to this section are
scored by an advanced automatic system
and fed into a detailed report that can be
generated online.
After completing this section, the respondent
then carries out a written task evaluated by
the assessor.
Three versions of Etray are available; one
for graduates and junior managers, one for
support staff and one for senior managers.

As soon as a participant has completed
Etray, insightful reports can be generated
online by the administrator. Etray reports
relate each email in the decision making
section of the assessment to a specic
competency, assigning scores based on how
appropriate or effective each response is.
The participants response to the written
communication task is scored separately
by the assessor, who can then assign overall
exercise scores for each competency based
on the evidence across the two tasks.
Etray is quick and simple to
