In our programs we present a range of courses including: visiting
Teachers from different Buddhist and other traditions; study programs
providing thorough explanations on aspects of Buddhist philosophy
and related disciplines; regular Yoga and Pranayama courses from the
Indian and Tibetan traditions and a new mindfulness series beginning
with a brand new course on music, meditation and mindfulness.

VIDEO TEACHINGS FROM THE LATE
TRALEG KYABGON RINPOCHE IX
Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche is the Heart Teacher and
founder of Yeshe Nyima Centre. Rinpoche was
recognised as the ninth incarnation of the Traleg
lineage at the age of two and was enthroned as Abbot
of Tragu Monastery in Kham, Tibet. Rinpoche
underwent rigorous scholastic and meditative
training under various Tibetan Kagyu and Nyingma
masters in Sikkim, Bhutan and India. Rinpoche came
to Australia in 1980 where he subsequently
established E-Vam Institute Melbourne in 1982.
Rinpoches other Centres include Maitrepa Centre
Healesville, Yeshe Nyima Centre Sydney, E-Vam
Institute New York and Nyima Tashi Centre in New
Zealand. Rinpoche conducted courses and retreats
at home and in U.S.A, South East Asia and Europe.
Rinpoche authored many books including the best
selling The Essence of Buddhismand Practice of Lojong.

ZEN MASTER EKAI KOREMATSU OSHO
Visiting teacher Ekai Korematsu Osho is the main
teacher and Director of Jikishoans Training and
Buddhist Studies Program. Born in 1949, he
studied humanities and Buddhism in Denmark
and the USA. He was ordained as a monk in 1976
and received dharma transmission from Ikko
Naraskai Roshi in 1986. His formal training and
Buddhist education is through Soto Zen
Buddhism. He has been serving as Abbot and
Resident Teacher of Jikishoan in Melbourne since
its inception.
TRALEG KHANDRO
Traleg Khandro (Felicity) is the resident teacher at
Yeshe Nyima. She is the student and wife of the late
Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche the 9th and has been a
Buddhist for over 30 years. Khandro has completed
a number of long meditation retreats and has been
teaching Indian and Tibetan Yoga for many years.
Her style is strongly influenced by Tibetan Yoga and
Kum Nye systems of Tibetan Buddhism and the
Indian Yoga Masters Iyengar and Desikachar. Her
classes present a unique approach to Yoga,
meditation and relaxation and are designed to help
people to deepen their meditation experience as well
as engendering a general sense of well being.
Khandro receiving her Indian Yoga qualifications
from the International Yoga Teachers Association
and has a degree in Psychology.
MANDY VAN ZANEN
Mandy van Zanen is a classically trained musician,
a professional vocalist, songwriter and composer.
One of Mandys passions is to build a bridge between
the listener and the music to assist in music
appreciation and understanding. As part of Yeshe
Nyima Centres mindfulness series Mandys focus
will be on the expansive quality of focusing the
mind. From a Buddhist perspective it is through
fully engaging in our experience that we can
understand the true nature of the mind and our
experience. In this course the experiences that
participants will immerse themselves in is that of
music, breath and silence. As well as building
appreciation for music itself the technique of
focusing the mind will assist experienced and non-
experienced meditators alike. Mandy has a Bachelor
of Music and Teaching.

Course Wednesday Meditation
Dates Beginning June 18 each Wednesday through June, July and August
Times 7-8pm
Course description: Wednesday meditation is lead by Traleg Khandro or other
experienced Centre members. The session includes instruction and some guided
meditation techniques. Attendance is by donation.
Course Tibetan and Indian Yoga Class
Teacher Traleg Khandro ( Felicity)
Dates 4 consecutive Saturdays June 21 to July 12.
Times 3-4.30pm
Course description: These unique courses combine traditional Hatha Yoga Asana
(physical postures) and Pranayama (breathing exercises) with Tibetan Yoga and
Relaxation techniques (Kum Nye). The course is designed enhance physical well-
being and meditative concentration. The yoga exercises are quite gentle. The course is
suitable for new and experienced yoga students and mediators.

Psychology of Meditation Video Teaching

Dates Sundays June 29, July 6 and 13
Time 3-5pm
Course description: In 2011 Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche the 9th lead a remarkable 6 day
retreat in the Blue Mountains. With exceptional clarity Rinpoche explains how
meditators can work with and understand the mind. Rinpoche discusses how we can
overcome suffering and samsaric limitations by working more skillfully with the mind
and mental processes.

Course Weekend Pranayama and Meditation Retreat

Times Commences 10am Saturday Final session finishes 3pm Sunday
Course description: Traleg Khandro will introduce Pranayama (breathing techniques)
from the Tibetan and Indian streams of Yoga. The course will incorporate meditation,
relaxation and meditation techniques and some gentle Yoga exercises. Vegetarian
meals are included and simple but comfortable accommodation is available for those
wishing to stay over on the Friday and/or Saturday night.
Booking and Enquiries: Please call for an information sheet if you are interested in
attending this course. Booking is essential.

Course Shobogenzo: The Eye of True Teachings
Teacher Zen Master Ekai Korematsu Osho
Dates Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August
Times 10.30am-3.30pm each day (lunch break 12noon-2pm)
Course description: Based on Master Dogens famous teachings Shobogenzo, Ekai
Osho will discuss the concept of time and interdependence from a Buddhist
perspective. The discussion will be designed to help participants integrate the reality
of impermanence into their every day life.
Osho is a profound and highly spontaneous presenter who points to the spaciousness
and stillness of the mind by sharing his realisation and wisdom.

Course description: A mindful focus isn't narrowed but rather all encompassing.
How and what we experience through the senses can be highly habituated. In this
uplifting and inspiring course participants will be guided to embrace the experience
of music more fully. The course is designed to help participants create a more positive
and enriched inner state of being through being fully engaged in their experience
through building mindfulness and awareness.
