I have been familiar with SIEMENS products since my university days as I did a
lot of practice in the university using SIEMENS products. When I found out
about Engineering Graduate Program (EGP) in SIEMENS, I was excited to get
a chance to join SIEMENS, a multinational technologies company that possess
excellent range of products that keeps evolving within the fast growing market.
Moreover, EGP program stated that we will do something beyond engineering,
a whole new world that wasnt covered during my study. The opportunity to join
SIEMENS and being rotated into different division within a business unit is too
good to be passed on.
Now, that I have already finished my 1.5 years with the EGP program, I can
look back and say that Im really impressed and grateful at the same time with
the way I start my first job. The 3 different rotations within Energy division gave
me the chance to explore different aspects of SIEMENS business units while
being guided by expert in each respective division; something that not even the
respective manager of each division has ever done before. I got to expand my
knowledge by being involved directly in the daily business processes. Even
better, I got to build a networking channel with my fellow EGP colleagues from
ASEAN cluster as well as with many clients or fellow workers with whom I spent
the past two years with. Moreover, through EGP, I cant think of many better
ways to start as a freshman. It is a privilege for me to get to experience all of
these benefits that my fellow freshmen didnt get a chance to. I can face my
future career with confidence with all the foundations that EGP has laid for me.

Ever since a lecturer at my university mentioned how big Siemens is as a
company as well as technology innovator, I had been interested to work at
Siemens. They are a well-established electrical engineering company with a
cutting-edge technology, hence I am aware working at Siemens would be an
advantage.
Participating in Siemens Engineering Graduate Program (EGP) enables you to
be working across different departments, since you get rotated every certain
period of time. This gives you a knowledge of howa business unit operates as
a whole, giving you more understanding in the process. During this program,
not only that I get to apply my engineering skills professionally, but I am also
able to develop soft skills which then I could use for the benefit of the company.
All people in Siemens are also very supportive, making it easier for me to adapt
into life at Siemens.
Engineering Graduate Program gives you the opportunity to find out and
unleash where your best potentials are in, since you are able to feel different
kinds of work aspect during rotations. This makes EGP a perfect way to start
your career in a such well-known company.
As a future EGP graduate and with all the knowledge I have gained in the bag
during the program, I amlooking forward to cruising at full-speed in carrying
work at Siemens, and helping it to be better.

ASP EGP is a full-time graduate program that offer by Siemens for fresh and
young bachelor engineer degree. This program allow me to meet along
colleagues from different countries across Asia Pacific and also offer me a great
experiences to have a several job rotation beyond engineer. During this
program, I also being trained to other countries to meet other EGP colleagues,
the training content is very various and useful to increase my soft-skills.
With Siemens, a multinational company, I have a good environment, and
motivational working conditions. As for example, my working teammates for one
project consists of people not only from local people but also from Europe, and
cross Asia. This experience give me more understanding how to working with
other people from other country which is have a different culture , different
personality and different background.
In this EGP, I join Siemens Indonesia in Energy business unit. For the first six
months, my rotation manager give me a good opportunity to work in sales and
marketing unit for Gas and Steam Turbine. All the things was newfor me, and I
learn much. I never imagine that my engineering background can be use in
many job fields. Thanks for Siemens to give me such of opportunity.
Now, I still in a progress of my second rotation, and being place in Project
Management unit which is means I will have another different environment,
different problems and tasks to do. Later on, after I finish this EGP program, I
will have a lot of great experience from three different division units and could
be placed in any division that suitable with me. At last but not least, this
program give me a benefit to know my path of carrier in the future.
