The undersigned (hereafter referred to as the “Client and or bride”) do

hereby agree that they are contracting Style the Knot (also refer to any other
representative authorized by Style the Knot) to provide wedding hair and
makeup services for their wedding or event pursuant to the terms and
conditions as set forth herein:

The Preview (trial run)

The client will schedule the preview run. The trial run is complimentary for
the bride. The bride may have as many trials as she wishes after the first
but will incur charges as agreed upon above. The trial run will take place in
Sherman Oaks, Ca or at a location of your choosing (no further than the
wedding location). Style the Knot reserves the right to charge $20 or more
for further locations. The bride may choose to have a trial run before the
contract is signed. However, Style the Knot cannot hold a date open if
the contract has not been signed and a 50% deposit has not been
received.

Expectation of Client and Other Recipients

Style the Knot will not be able to shampoo or blow dry hair on the day of the
wedding. There will not be time allotted for this. Style the Knot has the right
to refuse service if they feel it necessary or to charge an extra fee payable
on receipt of services. Client and recipient(s) of services are responsible for

arriving with their face and hair clean, dry, and free of product. Day old hair
provides the best medium for styling.

All those receiving services should wear a button down or zip up shirt. Bride
should bring veil and headpiece.

Booking Policy
In order to book an event date, the service agreement must be
signed and a 50% deposit received. It is required that all hair and
makeup services be pre-arranged in order for the event date to run smoothly
and guarantee Style the Knot’s availability for everyone who needs hair and
makeup services. Style the Knot stylists’ time is important in planning the
schedules for each date. Style the Knot’s dates are planned out months in
advance so that events/times do not conflict. All services that are pre-
arranged are booked as a part of the commitment. If at any time you add to
the contract via phone, e-mail etc. the added number of guests will be added
to the contract and you are responsible for the added guests and fees that
may apply.

Minimum Service Fee

As Style the Knot does not charge an automatic travel fee or mileage charge
as most providers do, they have a $200 minimum for on-location services.

Additional Services

From time to time guests who were not pre-arranged for services may need
services done at the last minute. If there is time to service additional people,
Style the Knot will be glad to try to accommodate them after the wedding
party is completed. However, Style the Knot is only committed to being
available for the services that are pre-booked. They will be responsible for
their additional fees paid in cash or check on the day of services.

Day of Service

A fee of $25 per half an hour will be charged to you if Style the Knot stylists
are waiting to serve you on the day of the wedding. The Client will be
expected on the day of the wedding to provide payment. The Client will
receive a receipt of the payment. Thank you for remembering Style the Knot
stylists’ time is as valuable as yours.

Postponement/ Cancellation Policies

If the wedding day is postponed or canceled, it is the sole responsibility of

the Client to notify Style the Knot in writing. If services are still needed for a

new date, the client is responsible for giving Style the Knot a new date.
Please read and understand our cancellation requirements.

WEDDING CANCELLATIONS:
○ If cancellation is received within two weeks of a wedding date, a 50%
cancellation fee will be charged.
○ If cancellation is received within 72 hours of the scheduled time of
services, the entire fee will be charged.

Change of Location

Any changes in arrangements, location or event time and date must be

made in writing and delivered to Style the Knot at least fourteen (14) days in
advance of any event. Style the Knot does not warrant or guarantee that
they will be able to accommodate any changes in arrangements, location or
event time and date. Style the Knot will use their best efforts to try to
accommodate any changes. Client acknowledges and agrees that Client will
pay in full for any additional changes at the time the changes are made and
it is not refundable.

Booked Services (this only applies if the bride is still booked but a member
of the wedding party cancels). Please keep in mind the $200 minimum
services required when cancelling attendants.

○ If an attendant cancels requested services within two weeks of a

wedding, a 50% cancellation fee is charged
○ If an attendant cancels within 4 days of an event, 100% fee will be
charged.

Parking Costs

Although Style the Knot stylists will do their best to utilize free parking, any
costs associated with the use of parking or mandatory valet services at your
location will be billed to the Client to be paid in full on the day of the
services.

Methods of Payment

Payments may be made by any one person for the entire wedding service
fee or paid individually by each recipient of services. Payments may be
made by cash, personal check, PayPal, or money order.

Returned Check Policy

Any check that is accepted as payment by the Client or recipients of services
to Style the Knot and is subsequently returned by your bank will incur a $45
service charge. Future payments must be made in cash or money order
only.

Exclusive Provider

Although Style the Knot will make every effort to be at your wedding, if for
any reason they cannot provide services due to an unforeseen cause, Style
the Knot will try to provide the Client with a backup artist. If a backup artist
cannot provide services due to unforeseen cause, your payment will be
returned to you in full. Style the Knot will not be responsible for any
additional charges the bride may have to pay if an artist cannot provide
services. You will be refunded the amount you paid to Style the Knot in full
for the services you were not given. You may have another makeup or hair
artist working at your event. They will not be allowed to interfere with the
responsibilities of Style the Knot.

Loss/Damage/Theft

Style the Knot is not responsible for any losses as a result of damages or
theft. Security for all events is the sole responsibility of the Client. Nor is
Style the Knot responsible for any allergic reactions the client or recipients of
services may have from products used by her. It is the sole responsibility of
the client to inform Style the Knot of any allergies before the contract has
been signed in order for Style the Knot to make the necessary arrangements
for the client. The client shall hold harmless Style the Knot from all claims
for damages caused by the acts of the Client, the Clients guests, and the
invitee(s).

Legal Intercession & Fees

Should Style the Knot need to seek legal counsel and/ or institute legal action
against the client due to nonpayment or any other reason, it is agreed that
the client will pay all legal & court costs incurred by Style the Knot and
associates. If due to a legal decision, the Bride is the prevailing party, any
monetary or punitive award is hereby limited to any fees charged and
received by Style the Knot.

 Use of Photos

I give Style the Knot and associates the permission to use any photos taken
at my event for use on her website, marketing, or any other legitimate
business purpose. You may ask us to remove your photos at any time.
