An Inconvenient Truth?
Or a Convenient Half-Truth?

Introduction
Global warming has become a worldwide, political issue: Many politicians,
scientists, and environmentalists are clamoring for our attention: Something has
to be done! they insist. This article presents two main objections to their
approach:
Not only are they in error regarding the cause of global
warming, but we believe there is a manipulative and dangerous
political agenda behind convincing the world that global
warming is being caused by carbon dioxide gases (as is now
claimed by so many).
But let us be abundantly clear: We are neither saying, nor implying, Mr. Al Gore
is intentionally lying about his findings on global warming. (His award-winning
documentary about global warming has been titled, An Inconvenient Truth.)
However, we most heartily disagree with the science behind Mr. Gores movie.
One cannot establish a truly scientific hypothesis while failing to address other
facts which are clearly related to the issue. (We further assume Al Gores motives
in opposing global warming are completely pure with no hidden agenda.) While
we can only commend the former vice-president for working to leave subsequent
generations with the legacy of a clean environment, we also caution: if massive
political legislation is used to fight global warming, it will likely be something
which improperly moves leaders, legislators, and nations to unjustly affect the
lives of millions.
This brief study does not argue against the reality of global warming: Something
is heating up the Earth! But are the scientists correct regarding their claims as to
the source of this warming? We will show the error of those who wish to blame
global warming on carbon dioxide emissions, and we will show their fallacies stem
from not knowing, or acknowledging, the truth of the matter as it is revealed in the
Scriptures. When all the facts are considered, it is difficult not to wonder: Is the
real truth being intentionally withheld by at least some of these scientists? And if
this is the case, one further wonders, Why is this so? Why is the Global
Warming Gospel picking up such great momentum? And is this occurring out of:
Fear? Concern? Political Intrigue? Diabolical Design? Or all of these things in
concert?

The Biblical Flood and the Ice Epoch
The Biblical Flood and the Ice Epoch, by Donald W. Patten, is a book of
profound scope and magnitude. Pattens scientific treatment of the Flood is an
absolutely stunning account of the overwhelming power displayed when the
Almightys fearsome wrath resulted in the cataclysmic upheavals which He used to
destroy the lawless from the Earth in those days. Mr. Pattens discussion of the
cause of the Floodas well as the colossal, destructive cataclysms which
accompanied itis a sobering discourse which leaves readers absolutely
awestruck. From all evidence, there was an incredible influx of cosmic ice which
fell on our planet at that time; as this ice descended from outer space, it largely
gravitated to the poles. The extreme subzero temperatures1 of the ice then mixed
with the extreme heat of the magma being pulled from the Earths core by the

orbiting heavenly body. This was a small planet which had been caught in our
Earths gravitational pull. As a result, extremely hot air began clashing with
extremely cold air, creating immense temperature contrasts the world has never
seen since! Huge thunderstorms were soon in the works: The floodgates of
heaven were suddenly opened, and the fountains of the deep were broken up.
Water came upon the Earth from above as well as from below, and this was the
primary agent of wrath at that time.
The Sun is Warming Up: Solar Radiation is
Now Warming the Temperature on Many Planets
Since the days of the Flood, the Earth has been gradually warming, slowly
returning to its originally tropical temperatures. No one can argue with the
present-day occurrence of melting polar caps and retreating glaciers. Still, this
writer believes that all science is not truly science until it finds its answers in the
Most High, the Creator of All. And that explains much of our disagreement with
the Global Warming Gospel: Greenhouse gases might be a contributing factor
to the warming of the Earth, but why do the environmentalists never mention the
global warming on Jupiter? That is correct: The planet Jupiter is also showing a
rise in average surface temperature. Since the warming of other planets cannot be
blamed on greenhouse gases from carbon dioxide, the global warming group
would rather we folks not know about all that! But the fact is:
Many of the planets in our solar system
are now warming up, and this is traceable
back to one, common cause: the Sun!
It is an established, scientific fact that the Sun has shown heightened activity and
that its 11-year solar cycles are no longer significantly waning in power before the
next cycle begins. This means the Suns energy/radiation is, by and large, only on
the increase. We are now beginning a new solar cycle which is set to peak in
2011-2012. As the Suns output of electromagnetic activity continues to surge,
and as its number of CMEs2 increase in size and intensity, a number of the planets
in our solar system are heating up; they are showing signs of increasing
temperatures and atmospheric upheavals. This is all due to the activity spawned
by the Suns growing infrared and electromagnetic energy.
Further, while unrecognized, or more likely, while
unacknowledged, these ionic, electromagnetic forces radiating
from the Sun are acting upon the magnetized magma of the
Earths core. Because the magma is being pulled upward, the
Earth is warming up from the inside out.
And this is where those who study global warming are standing in stark error:
They are failing to study (or to openly admit) the heightened electromagnetic
activity in the Sun and the effects which this is having on the inner core of our
planet. Bible prophecy shows these intense electromagnetic surges in the Sun will
soon cause magma/lava to erupt forth from the Earths crust in proportions
sufficient to destroy cities and, quite likely, even entire nations. Very recently,
earthquake activity occurred during a period in which strong cosmic forces from
the Sun were striking the Earth. This, we believe, was a cosmically-generated
earthquakea quake caused by the Earths magma surging upward in response to
electromagnetic energy from the Sun. The changes now taking place in the Sun
were prophesied,3 and hwhy warns they will result in pillars of smoke4 as a

multiplicity of volcanoes and massive, magma-driven earthquakes become

commonplace across the globe, ripping open the ground, destroying nations,5 and
blackening the skies in cataclysmic ways never before seen by modern man. In the
days of Noah, the wrath of hwhy was poured out on the world as water came from
above and below to destroy the Earth.6 In these Last Days, we are warned that fire
will be the agent of His wrath as it comes from above and below to destroy those
who violate His Law:7
1 Behold, hwhy makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and
turns it upside down,8 and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof
3 The earth will be utterly emptied, and utterly laid waste, for
hwhy has spoken this word. 4 The earth mourns and fades away,
the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the
earth will languish. 5 The earth also is defiled under its
inhabitants; because they have transgressed the Laws, violated
the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore, the
curse has devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are
found guilty: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
and few men left. Isaiah 24:1-6 9
The current increase in solar activity is not only something which will play a major
role in worldwide, apocalyptic cataclysms, but this intense heat from
the Sun (now only just beginning) is something which has long been prophesied to
occur. For centuries, the Hebrew prophets have warned that the Suns heat will
intensify to a level which can only be described as apocalyptic. As this is now
starting to occur, we are witnessing the incipient stages of what will soon become
an immense apocalypse:
And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the Sun;
and it was given to it to burn men with fire.
Revelation 16:8
The days are not long hence that hwhy will destroy the Earth and cleanse it by
fire.10 This is the same burning indignation we see prophesied by the apostles.11
But this fiery wrath was not a new concept even in the days of eswhy and His
apostles. For we see this great, burning indignation predicted well over 2000
years ago by the prophets of hwhy:12
Upon the wicked He will rain snares
Fire, and brimstone, and a scorching wind
will be the portion of their cup.
Psalm 11:6
hwhy also spoke of the ongoing availability of the Sun to bring forth His wrath on
the disobedient: While looking back at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah,
He ultimately spoke of the Day when the Suns intense heat would be invoked to
completely destroy the unrepentant from off the face of the entire Earth.13 This
will be the Ultimate Day of hwhy spoken of by the Almighty through the prophet
Malachi:

Since our world is about to be judged and cleansed by fire, anyone with spiritual
common sense, should be contemplating how to best prepare the heart and the
mind:
10 But the Day of hwhy will come as a thief in the night, in which
the heavens will pass away with a great noise,14 and the elements
will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works
that are in it will be burned up. 11 Seeing that these things are,
thus, all to be dissolved, what manner of persons should you be
in set apart living and reverence, 12 looking for and earnestly
desiring the coming of the Day of Elohim, by reason of which the
heavens being on fire will be dissolved, and the elements will
melt with fervent heat? 2Peter 3:10-12
The Earth has never been cleansed by fire in a manner comparable to the cleansing
by water which occurred globally during the Flood; but this fiery judgment was
prophesied and it is now about to occur: Global warming is only the beginning
of the end.
Judgment is Now Looming Large on the Horizon
eswhy the Messiah indicated the End Time destruction is something which all
mankind will see and acknowledge, yet with faithless fear:
And there will be signs in the Sun, and in the Moon, and in the
stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in bewilderment at
the roaring of the sea and the waves; mens hearts failing them
for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on
the earth: for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Luke 21:2526
The reality of global warming should provide the believer with sobering, tangible
evidence that Pending Judgment now looms large on the horizon. The Day of
hwhy is the Day of His Wrath, and it will be a period of time in which the Sun is
used to destroy the lawless and unrepentant out of the Earth.15 It is the time period
in which hwhy will arise to put an end to the flagrant, worldwide violation of His
Torah.16 This is why the judgments from hwhy on high shall be so devastating, so
severe, so widespread, and so unrelenting: A Righteous Creator will only allow
unrighteousness to go unanswered for so long; after which time, He will forever
avenge His people and His Land with worldwide, catastrophic upheavals foretold
many centuries ago in the Apocalypse. hwhy well knows about the Suns current
rise in heat and intensity, and as we have seen, He is about to use the Sun and the
stars to punish those who have refused to repent of violating His immutable
Torah.17 The Sun and the stars will be used by hwhy of Hosts to send forth fire,
brimstone,18 and pestilence upon those who have violated His immutable Law.
Massive, magma-driven earthquakes and indescribable, destructive tidal waves

will destroy large portions of the Earth, while molten lava from volcanoes19 will be
used by hwhy to burn and cleanse great land masses and to further punish the
unrepentant.
A Few Closing Thoughts
We agree with those who say the rise in the Suns temperature is not enough to be
warming the Earth. However, it is not just the infrared heat of the Sun which is
warming the Earth: it is mainly the electromagnetic radiation from our star which
is energizing and acting upon the molten core of the Earth. As a result, heat and
pressure are increasingly emanating upward from the inner pulsations of the
Earths magnetized magma. Thus, global warming is occurring from inside of the
Earth. And the more this lava surges upward from the Earths core, the more
earthquakes, volcanoes,20 and tidal waves we will see. The Suns electromagnetic
activity is also affecting other planets in a similar way, and we suspect science will
show this electromagnetic radiation is especially making changes in those celestial
bodies whose cores consist of magnetized magma. And we are warned magma
must have a significant part in the End Time judgments since it is said the Earth
will be burned with fire.
If you are not a believer in eswhy, we pray you will continue to seek and to study,
but most of all, that you will repent and consistently pray to hwhy for spiritual
vision and guidance. Read the Evangel of John21 and learn more of the One who
died so that you might live an abundant life of love, joy, and peace. The
Devouring Fire is coming, and there is only one way to prepare; we see this from
another text in Isaiah:
14 The sinners in Tziyon are afraid; fearfulness has surprised the
hypocrites. Who among us will dwell with the Devouring Fire?22
Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? 15 He that
walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; he that despises the gain
of oppression, that shakes his hands from the taking of bribes,
that stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes
from seeing evil. 16 He will dwell on high: his place of defense
will be the munitions of rocks: bread will be given to him; his
waters will be sure. Isaiah 33:14-16
The Messiah of Israel will return as a Lion, and in fiery wrath He will judge those
who have nullified the Law of hwhy.23 The terrible judgments prophesied in the
Apocalypse may all be understood and summarized with a single Scripture, a text
seen in Psalm 119:
It is time for hwhy to act, for they have broken Your Torah.
Psalm 119:126
hwhy will soon arise in fierce anger to put a permanent end to the immoral outrage
against His immutable, age-abiding standards. He will only allow unrighteousness
to go unanswered for so long. When He is stirred up to rebuke the world for its
lawlessness, His relentless wrath will strike terror in the hearts of mankind, and He
will forever destroy the rebellious nations of the earth.24 Yet He will be a refuge to
all who call on the Name of hwhy and who put their trust in Him.25 It is only those
who fear His Name26 who will be well prepared to see the King of kings when He
