This is a list of reportedly haunted locations throughout the world, that are haunted by

ghosts or other supernatural beings, including demons. Reports of haunted locations are
part of ghostlore, which is a form of folklore.

death down the lift well or was crushed by the lift & this story likely results from a suicide

0ictoria 6ark Railway Tunnel in 2risbane, Australia played host to one of 2risbane;s
most famous ghost sightings in '$+5, after a group of local children oerheard rumors
suggesting a ghost had been obsered within the tunnel. The following night, the
children crept down in the hope of spotting the apparition. .ne boy, lagging behind the
rest of the group as they passed through the tunnel, was apparently accosted by a misty
green, limbless, headless apparition that seemed to materialise from the wall of the
tunnel. Seemingly mesmerised by the spectre, the boy was dragged by his friends to the
nearby Royal 2risbane 7ospital, who feared he had been possessed by the ghost. The
ensuing tale, as related by the children to hospital staff, made sensational newspaper
headlines the ne1t day, and within a short time thousands of local residents were lining
both sides of the tunnel in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the ghost. The week
following, the 0ictoria 6ark ghost became the maHor talking point of 2risbane, and
numerous suggestions to its identity were put forward, although the spectre may ery
well hae resulted from one of the numerous suicides that took place in 0ictoria 6ark in

was opened in the early '$th century for burial of a family member, all of the lead coffins
had changed position. The facts of the story are unerified, and sceptics call the tale

Supposedly built on top of an ancient graeyard, it is now a small opera house and
museum holding regular performances. -egend has it that if a stone is thrown into the
courtyard, a loud scolding will be heard, but no one will be seen.
The Normandie Apartment, now the *ukang >ansion, in Shanghai, was named after the
*orld *ar ! warship Normandie, and was designed by the famous 7ungarian architect
-adisla 7udec. Sounds of footsteps running up the stairs, loud oices from empty
rooms, and een the sounds of breaking glass are rumoured to be heard from this
apartment building. The seenth floor corner apartment is belieed to be haunted by a
former tenant, who supposedly was an actress who committed suicide by Humping out of
the window.
The <iu >ansion was built by two brothers who were peasants turned millionaires during
the beginning of the "#th century. They lied a laish lifestyle with a garden around the
mansion complete with peacocks, tigers, and crocodiles. 8uring the prime of their life
they both simply disappeared. Since then workers within the closed mansion complain of
bi=arre animal bites and sightings.
The Tuen >un Road is considered haunted, where many car accident deaths occur, said
to be the result of driers trying to aoid hitting ghosts that suddenly materiali=e in the
middle of the road. Some driers hae reported to officers that they had lost complete
control of their ehicle, as if someone else were driing.
The Lun Shan Can 8ian hotel in Chengde is supposedly haunted with a man in western
clothing and a woman in ancient Chinese imperial attire, who always lurk at the end of
the eighth story corridor. There hae been a few occasional sightings of others dressed
in ancient Chinese clothing as well.

with Russi being charged for the crime. Some neighbors hae said they hear the
screams of Cerro and the sound of his stabbings.

run by >ontPfar descendants. Students who hae lied in the house hae felt
presences, steps in the middle of the night, and temperatures drastically dropping.

shadows in the southDeastern patio, which the nuns used as a burial place.

another man, and in a fit of rage murdered them both. Tourists hae reported a sense of
