Describing the author that is talking about me was so hard task to do because if I would

describe myself into positive way some might think about it if it is really suits me and on the
negative side would be so difficult in a reason that one might not believe it and one agrees into
it. But then I have to describe myself:

From Cabalaoangan, San Quintin, Pangasinan.
I am God Fearing.
I am a family oriented person
I am friendly.
I am kind-hearted.
I am jolly.
I can be crazy in terms of having fun.
I am a good daughter.
Frank when talking
Easy to be with.
Stubborn at times,
Noisy
CORAZON which means HEART.

Those are just the qualities of describing me; I am a mother of two wonderful kids. I graduated
with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing but unluckily I did not make it as A nurse by
profession but with my own rights I am A Nurse BY Heart and now I am earning units for
Bachelor of Secondary Education I never look as if there are failures it is just Gods will. I do not
know how to give up because I am a fighter. If there are chances grab it. And if there are
choices think about it but in the end you are the one who is making it. But the best way to
conquer this life is just be you and have faith. And you will never get wrong on the choices
youll make. And that is ME.

The I after 10 years.

Viewing forward for your future is like Predicting the future but the difference is that youre
making a path through your actions to become successful.
Ten years from now Ill be 38 then not so old enough, and not yet on the retirement period. I
might not see myself a very successful woman but enough to be called a professional that was my main
goal when I decided to earn units of education. A professional teacher with dignity with honor and
pride, and has a full of hearts in teaching. Promotions are just part of growing as a teacher I will claim
that I could be one of them. 10 years is long enough to fulfill your missions as I become a teacher I
would be producing a well competitive students, knowledgeable, competent and able to look back that I
have teach and produce a good students that could help in the improvement of our country and even
entire the universe.

Ten years from now I have touched more lives through educating people, I could give them the
essence or relevance of having a good and proper education. That these people will believe on my
sayings that I am not just a good teacher but I am a good companion who shows concern for everyone
that not only those rich people could have but even the poor. Giving them a mark that when you are
poor you should strive harder to become rich and the only way is to have that education in your hand
because the only wealth that you have is that having education you are holding to and not even the rich
could have it. That those parents who are crying when they were empty to send you in proper school
will say thank you to God that I am created to guide those people who are lost shifting to work
immediately because of not having enough money to be in school.

I Ten Years from now. I have served people who are in need in my service as a teacher. I have
produced students with confidence to face in the next chapters of their lives. A teacher that never stops:
and fails students who wanted to learn. A servant: a friend, a companion, a mother. A teacher that is
open that no one is neglected in education.



K to 12 EDUCATION: IN ACTION, A CHALLENGE!
Does everyone aware about K to 12? Does everyone understand the K to 12
EDUCATION? Does everyone are looking it in the positive way? Some may answer yes! And
some may say what that was all about?
K to 12 EDUCATION is not just been heard today but it is on the history of education. It is
now developing that could make a change for the lives of the learners on the positive way it is
easier to find a job. It gives more opportunity to the students to become competitive here and
abroad.
K to 12 Education has been started this year to try it out if the educators can produce a
globally competitive students it is a challenge because in taking such an action there are some
procedures to change in order to be systematic in teaching in order to test the new way for
giving such learning.
In action, a challenge! K to 12 Education: A SOLUTION TO THE RISING CHALLENGES OF
GLOBALIZATION has been started through conducting seminar-workshop. In May 13,2014
8:00AM registration of participants, and it was fully participated by the 2
nd
year BSE, BEE, BEED
students, as well as the 3
rd
year BSE, BEE, BEED, plus unit earners and guests from PUNP
graduates of education followed by the program and the discussion proper plus workshop. On
the first day AM Lesson Planning was the subject discussed by the key note speaker
Ms.Rosevell C. Segundo an academic consultant of bright child academy who give us the
knowledge about making of semi-detailed lesson plan that has been thought to have many
questions because we have practiced the detailed lesson plan but on the workshop she let us
do the semi-detailed lesson plan because it might be the one who will be in used by the K to 12
education. And in the afternoon Mr. Kevin Marquez which served as the key note speaker
about K to 12 Assessment and Evaluation who made a follow up about the new semi detailed
lesson plan, who teaches on making up grades and then he group us to make sample lesson
plan, some are task to do grades, etc. and at the end of the first day we gathered a fruitful
learning.
MAY 14,2014, AM at exactly 9:00am we started to listen to our very respectable key
note speaker Dr. Aurora Rosario chairman/professor, College of Teacher Education,
Pangasinan State University with a topic of Rationale behind Mother Tongue Based-
Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) Implementation in the K to 12 Curriculum. She discussed
the history of K to 12 Education and enjoyed the question and answer portion using the
mother-tongue Ilokano.
1:00 PM Ms. Ma. Lace V. Contaoe- Faculty pre-school department, Tulong-
Cayambanan Elementary School, Tulong Urdaneta Pangasinan. Demonstration Teaching on a
kindergarten class using mother tongue that brings so much fun but knowledgeable. She
demonstrated on how to teach kindergarten class using plant as her major subject who
participated by the selected active education students. After that workshop is given to us,
demonstration will follow with the given topic to be demonstrated by the selected demo
teacher from each group and for the best performer of demo-teaching will be awarded by a
certificate and that was given to our group Ms. Amira Maranan. Lastly, awarding of certificates
for the participants that end with picture taking with the faculties and Madam Quiming as the
Dean of the College of Teacher Education. Indeed, it was a successful seminar-workshop held at
PUNP Tayug, Campus headed by Mr. Jonathan Mensalvas, Mr. Ariel Leonin, Mr. Marvin
Gabatin and Ms. Shiela Claro.

making grades and do semi-detailed lesson plan.



Dr. Aurora E. Rosario teaches us the mother-tongue which was so interesting to
all of us learners and being trying hard to speak in Ilocano In teaching and asking
questionshard..hardhard




Last day the seminar workshop with Ms. Ma.Lace Contaoe who had
Demonstrated Teaching on a Kindergarten class using mother-tongue which made
and enjoyment to us learners.

General Reflection of the Articles
Teaching is a gift, if you are called to do it, then dont be afraid to say yes to something that you
know will give meaning to your life. They may say that it doesnt earn as much. They may say that its
tiring and sometimes frustrating. Well its true. But, is equally true that a teacher makes a difference.
That when you stand there in front of your class looking at each expectant face, you realize how much
power there is in teaching. Not the kind of power where you are above people and you can control
them, but the loving kind of power, the power to transform and change lives Lets use it to help our
students achieve their dreams.
As a teacher adjust yourself to students to cater to their respective need. It is important for the
teachers to strive to make their lessons and the entire classroom experience truly relevant to their
young wards.
As a teacher it is necessary to have a good grasp of your students talents and skills.
In those articles that has something to do with the lifestyle of being a teacher it is emphasizing that
being a teacher is not just having a profession you have to put yourself into it that you have the passion,
the heart that you could share everything that you have unconditionally. The love that you share, the
knowledge that you share without any hesitation, the learners will realize that you care much to them
that value every minute when you are with them. In terms of joining them into such competitions you
want them grow, they might win or lose for at least the experience that they have is something
incomparable for the feelings that you had been given that you had believe in their abilities and
knowledge that they can make it. And you as a teacher serve as a winner in any battle that your
students are taking because you serve as their mother, and their teacher who supports them all
through- out.
Those articles are so touching in the sense that when I will become a teacher the students that I
would teach is not having a good living as I am, I am not rich but I eat 3 times a day but those students I
will handle are they eating the way that I do it was so sad that poverty was one of the major problems
now a days that those children around are not sent to school because of that poverty if I am wealthy
enough I could send some in school, if only I ambut this way I am given a chance to teach those whose
in need for my service having the Teaching Profession that I could impart the knowledge that God has
given me.


GENERAL REFLECTION ON TEACHING PROFESSION

A change! A challenge! A Big Responsibility into shifting on a course which is teaching
from the field of nursing which has a big difference. A choice that can I will never regret. From
my nursing field that I wasnt became a professional nurse from which I think and I feel that it
wasnt my call to be called such. But God has called me to the second time around to render
that service which is Teaching and who Am I to neglect it. It is my call now to serve to fulfill that
mission that God has offered to embrace that faith that I have something to offer and that is to
Teach.

Learning the different Philosophies, Morality, and Code of Ethics from the subject
Teaching Profession will be able to do which is ought to do and which is not. You will learn the
Dos and Donts when you became a professional teacher. You will act as a professional
teacher.

On the subject Teaching Profession is sometimes self-explanatory because you as a
student have something in your mind that you are taking up that course education to improve
yourself as a professional one. You value your doings, you think what you act, you think what
you say, you value every thought because a single word you say will mean a lot others because
you are a teacher, and you are claiming it to become one.

In order to attain such a good lesson from a good subject, you must apply what you
have learned in Teaching Profession to become a Professional Teacher.
