Content Standard: 1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to
pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress,
rhythm and intonation.

Learning Standard: 1.1.3 Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes or sing songs.
1.1.4 Able to talk about a stimulus with guidance.

Learning objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
i. Sing the song with correct pronunciation and rhythm.
ii. Talk about the five senses at least 3-5 simple words correctly in a
sentence with guidance. (checklist card)
iii. Fill in the blank about the five senses at least 3-5 simple words
correctly.
Educational Emphases: Contextual learning
Previous Knowledge: Pupils already learnt body parts in the previous lesson.
Moral Values: Cooperation.
Teaching Materials: Flash cards, Yes I can song, milk, oranges, music box, bell and
worksheet.

1. Teacher divides the pupils into six
groups.
2. Teacher distributes checklist cards for
the pupils.
3. Teacher places the four different objects
into four different stations.
4. The groups move one station to the
next in the time allotted.
5. The pupils record what they see, hear,
taste and touch in the checklist.
6. Teacher encourages the pupils to
discuss together in the group to share
ideas or opinions.
7. Teacher asks WH-questions related to
those objects.
