PREFACE
This project file consist of the Data/Information about ``Most Preferd
Emarging Mobile Brand in Varanasi City " based on the information
given by customers selected at randomly. The objective of this
research is to interpret and analyze which Mobile Brand is most
preferred in Varanasi City.

It is very essential for a brnded company to know it's presence in
market as well as satisfection level of its existing customers, customer
retention is the most important aspect for the Growth and survival of
any company.

Though this project report I got good experience and learned a lot
about market structure and its other aspects for example : diffrent
market segmentations and the value based consumer satisfection and
importance of the Salles afters services. which shall be of immense
help in the future for the future researchers.

INTRODUCTION

Now a day's trend has been changed and youth is switching over to
the Multimedia mobile phones, i.e. , Nokia, Samsung, LG, Motorola,
Micromax are the brands which make mobile phones

Social networking has spread around the world with remarkable
speed. In countries such as India, about half of all adults now use
Facebook and similar websites. These sites are also popular in many
lower-income nations, where, once people have access to the
internet, they tend to use it for social networking.

Based on the extent of popularity, brands like Nokia, Samsung, Sony
Ericsson are distinguished from the rest of the mobile phones
available in the market. The top mobile phones range from advanced
to the very basic handsets. Best selling mobile phones in India need
not always be technically advanced to be popular. Top mobile phones
are popular gadgets that cater to a wide range of consumers like the
price conscious as well as the technically adept. Best selling mobile
phones in India are often determined by the user friendly features,
affordability and the individual market value for a particular brand.

The industry of mobile phones in India is touted to be one of the
largest in the World, with very high number of subscribers.
The market is profuse with moderate to high selling brands. The best
selling mobile phones in India are from leading manufactures like
Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericcson, LG, HTC, MICROMAX & many more.
They have been in the business since many years. The brands are
popular world wide and based on the penetration levels, these top
mobile phones have emerged as real-time winners. Below are few top
mobile phones which are indeed the best selling mobile phones in
India which does not compromizes in quality as well as tecnology.

There is huge market for Branded Mobile phones not only in
domestic Country but also in foreign Countries. Today
branded Mobiles are available in each City of the Country.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

Objectives of the Study :

To know the easy availabilty of the Product in the market,
so that the consumer may easily get it.
To know that the customer is satisfied by the purchasing
parameters, i.e., Right Quality, Good Price, & Satisfection
or Brand name etc.
To know the Awareness level about the Brand name
among Country.
To know thw satifection level of the Customers.
To know which Brand is Preferred most.
To know advertisement is the source of which is influencing the
customers towards Branded MOBILES.







RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

1) What is Research?

Research in common parlance refers to a search for knowledge.
One can also define research as a scientific and systematic
search for pertinent information on a specific topic. In fact
research is an art of scientific investigation. According to
Advanced Learner's Dictionary of Current English research " A
careful investigation or enquiry especially thrugh search for
new facts in any branch of knowledge." Redman & More define
research as a " Systmematized effort to gain new knowledge."

2) SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY:

This project report presents a view about " Most Preferd
Emerging Mobile Brand in Varanasi City". Research is the
fountain of knowledge for the sake of knowledge and an
important source of providing guidliness for solving diffrent
bussiness, govermental and social problmes, it is a sort of
formal training which enables one to understand the new
develipments in one's fiels in a better way.


3) SAMPLE SIZE:

The survey is being conducted in takeing part of socity with sample size
refers to the number of people to be selected from the universal to
constitute the sample for conducting a survey. the sample size of
Hundred (100) has been selected. The place being visited are few
Market places and SCHOOLS & COLLEGES. According to my sample size
most of the people were from local areas so they were aware of
BRANDED MOBILES.

4) DATA COLLECTION METHOD:
There are Two Types of Data -
A) Primary Data
B) Secondary Data
a) Primary Data: The best method of collecting data is primary data
collection methid because it has a better scope of getting required
information. This survey has done thrugh Questionnair method which is
basicly a Primary data based. The research approach was survey
research along with Observational research of every stage of study.
b) Secondary Data: The secondary method of collecting data is
from published sources and unpublished sources.The published sources
are like data about branded mobiles collected from Websites(net),
Magazines, Reference book on research Methodology ect. and the
unpublished sources are like data collected from the branded
Showrooms about their Brands.
5) SAMPLING TECHNIQUE:
A sample design is a definite plan for obtaining sample from a given
population, it refers to the technique or the procedure the researcher
would adopt in selecting for the sample. Sample design may as well lay
down the number of items to be included in the sample, i.e., the size of
the sample. Sample design is determined before the data are collected.
The first step during developing sample is to define these univers or
population, being studied. The univers is entire group of items which
the researcher wishes to study.
There are two types of sample designs through which one can select
samples:
Probability method
Non - probability method
I have used non - probability method sampling technique which was a
multi stage sampling.
Convenience
Census
Convenience represents relatively small groups of individuals which
are selected from the universe to represent the whole universe as the
universe is quite large.
And Census in the sence that in whichever showrooms and localities I
visited I made the Questionnair filled by each and every person.
6) RESEARCH TYPE:
To know about the present condition or status regarding particular
brand or different brands of mobile Descriptive research is conducted.
The descriptive study describes the state as it exists at present.
