Actix Analyzer Update June 2013 3
2 New collection device or technology support
2.1 Accuver XCAL support
Added support for IPv6 log messages.
2.2 Azenqos support
Added support for Azenqos file format.
2.3 Ascom TEMS support
Added support for TEMS Investigation 15.0.
Added support for TEMS Symphony 7.1.
In UMTS, SIB 19 is now decoded.
In UMTS, a problem has been resolved that caused some WCDMA
scanner attributes to be missing unless a LTE license was used.
A problem has been resolved in TEMS Investigation log files where the
instantaneous application throughput App_Throughput_DL could be
impossibly high.
A problem has been resolved whereby the attribute App_Layer_Active
could be missing for some devices.
A new TEMS preference has been added: Tools > Preferences >
General Settings > TEMS > Set GPS From Message, which allows the
user to select at which TEMS messages GPS coordinates should be set.
This preference can be used for instance with Indoor data, where GPS
Message Response may record incorrect GPS coordinates whilst
Pinpoint messages record correct GPS coordinates.
2.4 Ding Li support
Attributes MsIMSI and MsIMEI are now set from Ding Li messages.
2.5 JDSU support
Added support for version 17.1.
Added support for handheld log files (file name extension .AHD).

Actix Analyzer Update June 2013 4
2.6 LG LTE chipset support
A problem has been resolved that could cause attribute LTE_UE_CINR
to be set infrequently in some log files.
2.7 Nemo support
In LTE, a new attribute is set from CRELI messages that measures the
user-plane interruption time at handover.
2.8 PCTEL support
A problem has been resolved that could have prevented Clarify log files
from loading in Analyzer.
2.9 Qualcomm support
A problem has been resolved with QMDL files that could have caused
Analyzer to read messages incorrectly.
Added support for the SIP (0x156E) and RTP (0x1568) messages.
In LTE, there is now support for version 2 of the message LTE ML1
PDCCH-PHICH indication report. Before this release, LTE ACK and NACK
rates were set incorrectly at this message.
In LTE, there is now support for the message 0xB11B "LTE LL1 serving
cell FTL results" Version 4.
In CDMA, a problem has been resolved that could cause Analyzer to fail
to decode Qualcomm internal call event messages.
2.10 Swissqual support
Added support for version 13.
A new preference is available: Tools > Preferences > General Settings
> SwissQual > Enable Task Timeout. When enabled, Analyzer uses the
timeout information from the log file and detects a task (for instance
FTP download) as failed when its duration exceeded the timeout value.
In HSPA, more attributes are set for Dual Cell HSDPA.
2.11 Generic
Added support for LTE Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (SRVCC). The
new attributes can be found under LTE > Events > Call and LTE >
Statistics Data > Call.

detection now uses VoIP messages when they are logged. New VoLTE
performance attributes such as LTE_UE_VoLTE_IPDV (inter-packet
delay variation) have been added.
Added support for IP version 6 and Session Description Protocol (SDP).
In UMTS, there is now support for RRC default configurations in the
event detection.
Generic Voice Call attributes have been renamed and moved under a
new node in Attribute Explorer called Voice All Tech. These attributes
can be used to track voice calls across GSM, UMTS and LTE. A new
stateform making use of these new attributes can be found under View
> Forms > Data Testing > Voice All Technologies.
Example: voice call started in UMTS and completed in GSM

detection in Analyzer to peg a GSM call setup failure when Paging
Response message is logged two times, before and after the RR
Immediate Assignment message.

There are now two new KPIs for VoLTE: VoLTE call drop rate and
VoLTE call setup failure rate.

LTE Interference analysis is now available when the LTE Scanner
template is used.

Explorer from working.
A problem has been resolved with Windows localizations that use , as
decimal separator that could cause Spotlight to hang when calculating
