Summary Report
I. Introduction
The LGU State of Development Report (LSDR) is an approximation of the state of development
obtaining in a locality based on a specific set of development indicators and sectoral development
indices. The state of development is measured based on the LGU self-assessment and estimate of
key development indicators in the following sectors:
Social Services: Health and Nutrition; Education; Housing and Basic Utilities; and
Peace, Security and Disaster Risk Management
The State of Development Report provides insight into the development condition of the LGU
along the pre-defined development indicators. Indicators are processed and synthesized so that
LGUs can make an informed assumptions and generalizations about their conditions and what
corrective actions might be needed to sustain or addressed these development concerns.
Highlighted in this summary report is your LGUs state of sectoral development index.
The development index is the condensed and collated summary of the multiple set of
development indicators that you have self-assessed and provided based on a pre-
identified sectoral development indicators in the LGPMS.
As shown in the wheel report below, the LGUs state of development is summarized below:

Based on the summaries above, the LGU state of development is far from the ideal condition
except in the areas of Peace, Security and Urban Ecosystem Management. This synthesized
information on your LGUs state of development is critical in formulating an informed assumption
on the developmental priorities your LGU has taken and will take in the next 3 years.
The variations in the annual development index and the overall development pattern are
important points in explaining the development gaps from what is expected and ideal in the local
socio-economic and environment development. This information is expected to be taken by your
LGUs in the next development planning process and take account of the possible corrective
actions and strategies based on your development condition.
This information is also useful reference in determining the vision-reality gap and formulating the
development goals and objectives in your LGU as you proceed with the development planning in
the new mandate of the elected officials of the LGU.
