We currently have opportunities to recruit a Rotating Equipment Technician and an Instrument
Technician within our Central Maintenance Department.
Rotating Equipment Technician
Responsible for the quality, safe execution and record keeping of Reactive and Planned (PM)
maintenance work. Must be able to repair equipment speciic to their area of expertise to tolerances
and procedures required within the Oil & Gas industry.
Provide support to the maintenance term contractor to scope work, provide technical trouble shooting
and assist in raising competency and performance levels.
Support continual improvements in maintenance effectiveness by carrying out periodic bad actor
reviews and by proposing changes in PM frequencies based on equipment history.
Provide technical support to Projects when required.
Instrument Technician
Responsible for fault location, repair, calibration and maintenance of all standard ield instrumentation.
Undertake fault location, repair and maintenance of control systems including Programmable Logic
Controllers, Safety Shutdown Systems, and Distributed Control Systems.
Execute Instrument PMs on SIL rated Instrumentation systems.
Apply basic reliability techniques and tools to further enhance the Reinerys Safety and Reliability cultures.
Inspect and maintain hazardous area equipment.
Provide technical support for contractor personnel engaged in instrument maintenance and
installation activities.
Commit to provide out of hours call out cover and to work extended hours during busy periods.
Candidates will have completed a recognised training programme/apprenticeship and have experience
within the oil and gas or related industries. They will be innovative, self-motivated and have the ability
to work independently with enthusiasm and minimal supervision. The role demands well-developed
teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure together with excellent planning, technical,
communication and interpersonal skills. An aptitude for problem solving is essential and appropriate
qualiications such as Compex, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent should be held.

a Production Engineering Manager.
Part of the Otter Controls Group, St Davids Assemblies Ltd has been established in
Pembrokeshire since 1951. The business has undergone a period of rapid growth and
the appointment is a key position to help lead the team during what will be an exciting
future for St Davids Assemblies Ltd. The successful candidate will be a member of the
senior team and will deputise for the General Manager from time to time in his absence.
The company mould and press complex components using engineering polymers and
metals, utilizing various fully automatic assembly machines and exceling at the manual
assembly of many technical components.
Duties will include the management of multi skilled team members, implementing and
monitoring KPIs of the manufacturing plant, workforce training, planning shop loor
layout and some hands on engineering will be required in a variety of disciplines
including: Injection Moulding, Metal pressing, PLC controlled auto assembly and hand
assembly.
The individual will have at least 5 years experience in team management together
with HND level qualiications in a mechanical engineering discipline, preferentially
with exposure to the above manufacturing techniques. We aim to be a world class
manufacturing company and expect that you will contribute greatly to this continuous
improvement led business.
