Biography (Ishrat Jahan)

My name is Ishrat Jahan. I live with my family in comilla. I grew up in comilla . I was born on 20
January in1991 at Comilla. At present I am studying in Comilla University at BBA(major in
Accounting and Information Systems),3
rd
year. As I have completed my SSC and HSC in
commerce thats why I always wanted to be a student of Accounting .I am from a Muslim
(sunni) family. My parents always guide me to lead a life lighten with the light of Islam. I also
think that its the best way of living. As a student I always try my level best to fulfill my duties
regarding my study. Though I am not a brilliant student, but I am a regular student. Because
regularity in study is a key element to do good result. I am an introvert girl in terms of sharing
my feelings and thoughts with others. I know this is not good for me but I am trying to get out
of this. And my family and friends are also supporting me. I spend my time after completing my
study and classes by watching TV, reading newspaper and books. But my favorite time pass is
spending time with my family.
Student life is the time of preparation for the struggle of life and for gaining knowledge to be a
successful person. I started my school life at comilla modern school. Then I got admitted at
Nawab Faizunnesa Govt. Girls High School in class 6.I got Scholarship at class eight. I had
completed my SSC examination from Nawab Faizunnesa Govt. Girls High School in 2007 and
got GPA. 5. It is a renowned school of Bangladesh. Then i enrolled at Comilla Victoria College
and completed my HSC examination from there in 2009 and got GPA. 5. Then i enrolled in
Comilla University at BBA (major in Accounting and Information Systems). Now i am a student
of BBA (3

I belong to a middle-class nuclear family. My family consists of four member - my father, my
mother, my elder sister and me. My fathers name is Abul Khair Mazumder and he is an
engineer. He is involve with construction business. My mothers name is Umme Habiba. She is a
homemaker. My sisters name is Moshfika Khair and she is a student of BBS final year in comilla
Victoria College. My sister is married and her husband is an employee of a private company and
she has a daughter and a son. I am the second daughter of my parents. I am greatly indebted to
my parents for my existence on the earth. From my childhood till today they are sacrificing their
comfort and happiness for my well being. I could not have been what I am today without their
support, care and affection. So none is so dear and respectable to me as my parents. My father
is my first inspiration because he is the one for whom I have realized the importance of study in
life. My mother is my best friend because no one can understand me completely except her in
this whole world. I have a special bonding with my sister. Actually my family means the world to

me. I dont know how to start and where to end my description about my family. We are really
a very happy family with the blessings of Allah.

I have some plan for my further studies. After completing BBA and MBA I have plan to join
ICMA to be a Cost and Management Accountant. I will also try to get some other professional
degrees which will help me by adding value to my career.
To be successful a person should have an aim in life which will help him/her to choose a right
path. My aim in life is to build my career in multinational company. Because now a days, these
type of job is desirable for most of the business students. Honesty is very essential to reach any
desirable destination. So I will try to get my destination with honesty. It is very important for
me to achieve a successful position to support my family and nation. Whenever I get chance, I
try to get involve myself with social activities. I have a plan to involve with Different NGOs to do
something for nation and the people of our country.
Everyone tends to have a hobby. It is a work of diversion. My Favorite hobby is doing art and
craft. Besides this I have interest in baking, cooking. But my favorite time pass is spending time
with my family and friends. Travelling is another favorite hobby of mine. Study tour, Family
picnic give me chance to enjoy my vacation with my family and friends.
As a student of Accounting, I like this subject. But besides this Taxation, Management,
Marketing, Organizational behavior, Operational Research, Economics, Finance, Banking, Cost
accounting, Statistics are also my favorite subjects.

Biography (Abul Hasnat Suman)

This is Abul Hasnat Suman. I live in comilla with my family. I am attending B.B.A Degree major in
Accounting. As Accounting was my favorite subject from earlier I am satisfied with this course. I
am very friendly to everybody. My fathers name is Md. Yunus Mia & mothers name Mosa
Umme Qulsum.
I had competed my S.S.C from Bharella S.N. High School. It is situated about 20 miles away from
comilla town. Though it is situated in a rural area its academic result is very good. I have
completed S.S.C in Business studies group. And I had completed my H.S.C exam from Ispahani
public school & College. It is one of the most popular college not only in comilla but also in
whole Bangladesh. I had attended exam from Business Studies group.
I am the eldest son of my parents. My fathers name is Md. Yunus Mia & My mothers name is
Mosa Umme Qulsum. My Father is a businessman & my mother is housewife. I have 3 sisters
two of my younger sisters are also studding in various institutions. One of my sister is
completing B.S. C in Pathology from Marks Medical College. Another Sister reads in class 9. And
youngest sister is in class 6.
Every Person cherishes an aim in heart. I am not exceptional from all. My aim is to become a
bank job holder. And for this purpose I am preparing my self by doing hard work.
Every person has a special interest in one case, which is named as hobby. My hobby is
travelling. I like to travel very much. I have travelled many historical & traditional places of our
country.
As an accounting student, I like the accounting subject very much. My other courses of interest
are Marketing, Management, Taxation, Banking and Organizational behavior etc.

Biography (Lia Begum)

My name is Lia Begum .Now I am 23 years old .I come of a respectable Muslim family .My
family live in Bhairab in the district of Kishoregonj. Now I am reading in BBA, major in AIS 3

semester in Comilla University. As a student of public university, it is my duty to attend
my classes every day .I would like to emphasis on gaining knowledge. I prefer to read
newspapers, magazines and many other so on. I am trying my best to say my prayer five times a
day and to support my family. My favorite hobby is gardening. Without hobby I can not make
our leisure enjoyable.

I had competed my S.S.C from Bhairab K.B. Pilot High School in 2007. My GPA was 4.74.It is a
very renowned school of our district. I had completed S.S.C in Business studies group. And I had
completed my H.S.C exam from Rafiqul Islam Mohila College in 2009. My GPA was 4.70.

Family is the smallest unit of society .Where father, mother, sisters, brothers live together is
called family .Our familys member are 10 in number. We are 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Among
them, I am 5

child of my parents .My father is a businessman and my mother is a housewife.
Two of my elder sisters and brother are married. They are highly educated. My eldest brother is
a businessman. One of my elder brother reads in the Private University which named is ULAB
University that is situated in Dhaka and one of my younger sister reads in the dept of AIS in
Comilla University and rest of the two are reading in HSC level .All of my elder sisters and
brothers take care of us. They are always anxious to see me happy. They are my heart and soul.
I like my parents, brothers and sisters very much. Finally I can say, ours is a happy family.

An aim in life means a plan of future life. Every student must have aim in life .I am a young
learner now studying in 3

semester. I have also a definite aim in life. At first I want to
become an honest and good human being .Besides these to support my family, I have already
set up my mind to be a Banker or BCS cadre (administration). I think that it is the best way I can

help my family, society and my country. I believe that I shall be able to reach my goal and serve
my family, society and country.

Hobby means ones favorite occupation but not ones main business. Every body should have a
hobby so that he may get rid of the monotony of life. As I am a student, study is my main
business. But it does not provide me with much joy and pleasure like gardening. So I have
chosen gardening as my main hobby .After all, It is a joy and pleasure and is a sort of physical
exercise. It strengthens my health and refreshes my mind. Everyday I get great pleasure when I
see the blooming flowers in the garden. Reading books is also my another favorite hobby.
As a student, I have many courses of interest. Now I will discuss about it in a nut-shell .At first, I
find interest In Accounting, as I am a student of Commerce Background, so Its always remains
dream for me to read in BBA major in accounting. I also interested in other subjects too like
management, marketing, taxation, cost accounting and finance.

Biography (Mahammad Rezaul Karim)

My name is Mohammad Razaul Karim .Now I am 22 years old. I come from a sophisticated
family and live with my family in Comilla City. Now I am reading in BBA, major in AIS 3

year in
Comilla University. As a Muslim boy, I am trying my best to say my prayer five times a day. I am
trying my best to get up early in the morning. As a student of public university, it is my duty to
attend my classes every day. In this regard, I am trying my best to attend my classes every day.
Discipline precious treasure for the growth of whole human society. Life without discipline
means life full of chaos. So, I try to be more disciplined in my every days work specially in
study. The first and foremost duty of a student is to acquire knowledge. So, I would like to give
emphasis on gaining knowledge. I prefer to read newspapers, magazines, dramas and novels. I
also try to hear TV news every day. I am also trying to engage myself in many social and
benevolent activities. It is very much enjoyable to me whenever I go to picnic with my friends.
My favourite hobby is gardening and travelling as well as my favourite game is cricket.

Student life is a period of preparation for all the problems that face the individual and the
community. I was started my primary school life in Jakuni Para Govt. Primary School and then I
got myself admitted into Comilla Zilla School. From these schools I completed my primary and
high school life successfully. I got GPA: 5 in the SSC examination in 2007 from commerce group
and then I got myself admitted into Comilla Victoria Govt. College. From this college I was
successfully completed my college life. I also got GPA: 5 in the HSC examination in 2009 from
commerce background. Finally my dream came true when I got admitted into COMILLA
UNIVERSITY in the dept. Of AIS in the year 2010, after passing HSC examination .Now I am
reading in 3

I live in a nuclear family in comilla city. My family consists of 7 members-my father, mother,
grandfather and grandmother. We are three brothers. I am the eldest of them. My father is a
govt. Service holder and my mother is a house wife. Whenever my father gets time he goes to
our village. My grandmother is a nice old lady .One of my younger brother reads in the dept. of

ICT in Comilla University another one reads in class 9.My parents is so much friendly with me.
Every time I share all of my feelings with them. They give me motivation every time regarding
my education. Parents can fulfil almost all the demands of the children in a nuclear family. So
satisfaction is present everybody. As there are few members here expenditure is much less
than an extended family. My mother looks after our family very sincerely. She takes great care
all of us. She is ready to sacrifice her own happiness for our happiness .I like my parents very
much. I hold my parents in profound respect. I am greatly indebted to my parents.

An aim in life means a plan of future life. Each and every man should have a definite aim in life
in order to finish his duties and responsibilities properly within this short period. But it is
impossible without a definite aim in life. There is a common saying, many men many minds.
So, different people have different aims in life. Some want to earn money, some want to earn
name and fame, some want to country and countrymen. I am a young learner now studying in

and good human being. I have already set up my mind to be a banker or going to abroad. In this
way I can help my family, society as well as my country. The real success of a life largely
depends on a noble aim of life. The aim of every life should be honest. An honest aim of life
makes a man really happy, great and immortal on earth. Success in life depends much on the
proper choice of a profession. I believe that I shall be able to reach my goal and serve my
family, society and nation.

front of our house. It may not bring money but it gives me joy and pleasure. A man must have a

it is necessary to enjoy life. It is a good form of exercise. It removes the monotony of hard work.
A garden adds to the beauty of a house. It always keep me active to work and study hard.
Reading books is also my another favourite hobby. The value of a hobby is very great in a mans
life. A good hobby makes a man active and strong. It teaches us the dignity of labour. A hobby
purifies and gladdens our mind. It helps the right use of time. A good hobby has a great
importance and value in our life. My favourite hobby help me to forget sorrows and pains of my
life.

As I am a student of commerce background , so its always remains dream for me to read in
BBA major in finance or accounting in a public university. Finally my dream came true when I

got chance in BBA in Comilla University in the dept. Of AIS . Besides other subjects such as
English and Economics are also my favourite subjects.


Biography (Md. Mehedi Hassan)

My name is Md. Mehedi Hassan. I am 22 years old. I am Bangladeshi. My home district is
Comilla. But my family lives in Dhaka. I spent my childhood in Dhaka because my father is a
businessman. After completing my higher secondary education and then I had to go out of my
family in nearby district town Comilla for the purpose of higher study. Now I have to stay in
hostel. For that I am miss my parental care for a long time. My religion is Islam (sunni). I can
speak in Bengali & English with excellent proficiency and having positive attitude with hand
working nature. I found to be good in handling problems and getting better than best solutions.
My strengths are I am self motivated, I learn through my mistakes as well as from other
mistakes also. Having friendly behavior I can mingle with others easily. Coming to my weakness,
I blindly believe anyone with a short span of time, and then people begin to cheat me. I am
trying to overcome it by mentally training myself with a good mindset and moreover. I am
trying to be diplomatic. I have come from lower middle class family background. My todays
position is only because of my hard working and parents encouragement. My role model of my
life is Steve Jobs. He was a talented, honest person. His quotation like stay hungry, stay
foolish inspires me a lot. My favorite quotation is Be gentle, be educated. My passion which I
believe most people dont care what you do- people care who you are and what you are
passionate about is who you are. I like the people who are honest, help others and respect
others. I dislike the people who are cunning and selfish and dont have manners.

I did my secondary schooling from A.K. high school in Dhaka board and passed with G.P.A.-4.50.
Then I did my higher secondary from Dania College in Dhaka board and passed with G.P.A.-5.00.
Currently I am pursuing my B.B.A in Accounting & Information Systems from Comilla University,
Comilla. Besides I got non-government scholarship at class three and seven. My achievements
are I got many prizes and certificates for my academic results and quiz competitions through
my academic life.

There are five members in my family. My father name is Md. Safiqur Rahman Sarker. He is a
businessman in area of foreign currency at Motijhill carrying transactions in Uttara Bank. He is
only earning member in my family. My mother name is Begum Samsun Nahar. She is a
homemaker. We are three brothers in my family. I am elder of them. One of my younger
brothers appeared in S.S.C examination in this year and passed it. And another will appear in
P.S.C examination in this year.
My short term aim is to get a job in reputed organization to gather knowledge & skill. My long
term goal is to be an expert in my field. My biggest dream is I want to run my own business
when I have good experience.
My hobbies are listening music, roaming & gossiping with friends, playing volleyball,
badminton, and gardening, face booking, gaming in PC. I like most watching football match. I
also like to watch funny & mysterious movie.

Through my educational life I have interest in the subjects of English & mathematics. Because
of the use of those subjects is used mostly in everywhere. I like those very much. I got highest
marks on those subjects several time in my school life. But during time of pursuing B.B.A. my
favorite subjects are statistics, law & practices of taxation, operation research till now. As a
student I prefer to do tuition for developing myself and to support myself. And from my
childhood I had a great interest in saving money and till now I try to save money for my future
purposes. Focusing on improvement in my communication skills, I have a great interest in
management & organizing and to learn good things from different peoples. Eventually, I have a
target to go abroad for achieving professional degree and I will try my best to do that. I want to
establish myself as an ideal citizen of the country. Also I want to dedicate myself to the service
of my country and the people in my future life.

Biography (Jannatun Tajrin Tonu)

This is Jannatun Tajrin Tonu. I am 22 years old. Now I am studying at BBA major in Accounting
and information systems (AIS) in Comilla University. As everybody knows that I am a smiling
face and gregarious girl. Actually I really like to remain like this. I thing, I am a talkative girl also
but I dont like this. I am so much emotional also. Whatever, I try to be frank, honest, and clear
with my family, friends, and my relatives. My family is very supportive and frankly. I love them
very much. I love my mom. I have some more special friends who always support me and I love
them also. My favorite activities are watching TV, painting, making fun and playing game. I like
that moment, when I go anywhere with my friends.

I think, Study life is very important to build up a successful career. My study life is very
interesting. I passed my primary level from Nobarun Bidda Nikaton, where one of my teachers
was my mom. Thats why I called my mom as a mam. When I called her mam, I felt shy. Then
I completed my high school level from Debidwar Mofiz Uddin Ahmed Pilot Gilrs High School. I
got GPA 5:00 in SSC in the year 2006 from there. Then I admitted to Comilla Victoria Govt.
College. My HSC result was 4:90 in the year 2008 which was unexpected. The most pathetic
part of my study life is failure to became a student of Dhaka University because I was really
crazy for studying in DU. Now I am happy with my present educational institution as I have got
some good friends, faculties, and a wonderful campus.

I belong to a sophisticated Muslim family. In my family, there are 5 members-my parents, two
elder brothers and me. I am the youngest one. May be thats why I am so adorable. My father
was a college teacher but now he is a retired person. My mother is a school teacher. My elder
brother is now worked at DSE as an Executive officer. Another elder brother is completing his
MA from Comilla Victoria Govt. College. Finally we are a very happy family.

I want to be a Banker because I want to be self-dependent. As my academic background is
business studies, I think it is easier to establish myself in banking sector than other sectors.
Besides this, I am really interested to do something in any type of corporate sector. Thats why I
choose this profession to build up my career.

I like to do any kind of creative activities. Painting is also one of my favorite activities. When I do
any creative job, I feel very relax and my mind becomes refresh. Another advantage is it helps
to forget any unexpected event which is painful to me. Because I always try to be make me
relax.

Since, I am a student of accounting, so it is my favorite subject. But I like some other courses
like Economics, Marketing, Management, Finance, Statistics, Taxation.

Biography (Hossain Chowdhury)

This is Hossain Chowdhury.Student of Comilla University In BBA in Accounting & Information
Systems. Now I am in 6

semester. I try my best to do good activities and tried my best to be
industrious.Thats all about myself.

Academic background means the history about previous studies. My previous study was so
much memorable to me.It was just like a dream. I was the student of Govt.Labratory High
school in initial level. In SSC exam 2007 from business studies, I secured GPA-4.50.It was quite
comfortable for me. Then I admitted in the Comilla Victoria College for HSC level. And secured
4.50 in that level. And admiited in Comilla University after hard working process. Now its going
on..

My family consists of 8 members .My fathers name is Md.Firoz Chowdhury and he is the
decision maker of our family. He is a service holder in Bangladesh Police. My mothers name is
Morium Begum and she is a housewife. My family is free minded as it needs. I can express my
opinion to my family and give reasonable solution to me. I love my family from the core of my
heart.
Aim is the goal to destination. It ensures where I will reach. My aim in life is to be a BCS cadre,
by which I will be the 1

class officer of the country. I think it is so much gorgeous job section in
Bangladesh. Here, I will find more honor and respect. For this reason, I desire this job very
much.

Hobby is the creative section of mind satisfaction. I have some hobby, these are Travelling,Read
historical books, Fishing Etc.

My course of interest in Marketing Principles. I like theoretical subject very much. Because
there I find so it very much interesting.

Biography (Abdul Kader)

I am ABDUL KADER .My dearest and nearest call me Zilanee. My father Md.Habib Mia and
mother is Mafia Khatoon . My permanent residence is under the Comilla district, Upazilla-
Chouddagram,Post office-Kashinagar,village-Jatrapur.Now I am residing at the east side of
Ranir Dhigi near by Kandirpar ,Comilla. I was born on 25 October in 1991.By birth I am a
Bangladeshi. I believe in Islam .I am unmarried till now.
I had completed SSC exam from Matiranga Pilot High School under the Chittagong Education
Board in Business Studies. On the other hand I had also completed HSC examination from
Cambrian College under the Dhaka Education Board in Business Studies.
I am the eldest son of my beloved parents. I have two brothers and two sisters. My father is
engaged with farming activities. My mother is looking after the family and performs household
chores. My second brother is a tailor master. One brother and one sister are studying in a
college. My youngest sister is in class ten.
After completing BBA and MBA, I want to be an administrator.
My hobbies are writing poetry, knowing about the biography of great personalities.
My other Courses of interest with accounting are English, Taxation, Management, Marketing,
and Economics.

Biography (Nizam Uddin)

My name is Nizam Uddin . I was born on 03 February in 1991. Now I am reading in BBA, major
in AIS 3

year 2

semester in Comilla University. My village name is Patrail, p/o- Patrail, p/s-
Bhanga, dist-Faridpur. Now, I am living at Newajbag, holding No. 115, Kandirpar, Comilla. I
prefer to read newspapers, magazines. I also like to engage myself in many social and
benevolent activities. I always try my best to support my family.


I had completed Dakhil exam from Vorilhat Nesariya Dakhil Madrasha. I had completed Alim
examination from Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasha. I Got both Primary and junior scholarship in
talent full.I had been awarded as a Champion in debate competition in college level.


My fathers Name is Late Abdul Latif and my mothers Nameis Azuda Begum.
Our familys member are 11 in number. We are 4 brothers and 1 sister in number. I am the
youngest brother in my family. I have lost my father since 2007. My mother is home maker.
Two of my elder brothers & sister are married. My eldest brother is a businessman and rest two
are in abroad.


My aim in life is to be a BCS cadre(administration).

My hobby is to serve the society by establishing social organization, such as library, sports club
and different educational institution.

My courses of interest are Basic accounting, Economics, Marketing, Organizational Behavior.

An accounting and information systems (AIS) means that combines traditional accounting
practices with modern information technology resources. AIS is a structure that a business uses
to collect, store, manage, process, retrieve and report its financial data so that it can be used by
accountants, consultants, business analysts, managers, chief financial officers (CFOs), auditors
and regulatory and tax agencies.Specially trained accountants work with AIS to ensure the
highest level of accuracy in a company's financial transactions and recordkeeping and to make
financial data easily available to those who legitimately need access to it, all while keeping data
intact and secure.

Why have we chosen this particular course of study?
AIS is important because it cuts across traditional functional lines in accounting. It provides the
"big picture" and allows students to develop their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
We have chosen AIS due to some practical reasons.
1st Reason The qualification of an Accountant is being increasingly acclaimed as the best
professional qualification in this millennium of free market economy and globalization of trade
and services. It is growing field due to increasing of different business regulations.
2nd Reason The area of accounting is very wide. It involves many other specialize field. One
can make specialize in making and maintaining of accounts , internal auditing , Forensic
Accounting , independent auditing , management accounting or cost accounting .So in
accounting we can make our personality with our specialization . For this we have chosen to
study accounting .
3rd Reason Our world has been now turned into a business world. For successful running of a
business an accountant is essential part. Every business organization (small or big) needs an
accountant. Now there are lots of job opportunities in this field
4th Reason Accounting gives opportunity to move to other areas of business. If we will do
accounting job in different business organizations, we can also learn different practical skills of
business, so we can shift our career as a business and enjoy our life with independence . Almost
all good businessmen start their career from accounting field, thats why we have chosen this.

Attractive aspects of this course
AIS means the combination of traditional accounting and modern information technology. And
we find this particular aspect very much attractive. Because without IT no one can just think
about leading an advanced life in todays world. So the combination of IT and accounting is
making the accounting professions very much effective and attractive. The accounting
professionals like CA (Chartered accountant), CMA (cost and management accountant) are just
ruling the todays business world and job sectors. Now establishment of different accounting
software are making the job of accountants and the other related fields more upgraded.

How the course would fit our career plans
As we have come from commerce background, most of us have future career plan related with
accounting. As we are accounting students, we have plan to be a CA (chartered accountant) or
CMA (cost and management accountant) or Banker or Administrator or Financial Consultant
etc. So in building our career, AIS (accounting and information system) will definitely fit our
career plan.
