Title: Health Care Center Administrator

Reports to: Associate Executive Director of Operations

Category: Non-exempt

Classification: Support Staff

Status: Full Time


Purpose:

Under the supervision of the Associate Executive Director of
Operations, the Health Care Center Administrator will be
responsible for budgeting, community relations, and the quality of
care services. Provide overall management to the day-to-day
operations of the Health Care Center while maintaining
compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Insure
continuity and consistency in delivery and quality of services.

Essential Duties:
Develop a physical space that is conducive to the delivery of quality
health/behavioral health services; provide a safe environment to
consumers, staff and visitors. The facility shall comply with the
Americans Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations.
Insure the facility complies with all licensing standards.
Maintain the facility clean and orderly.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the mental health
care providers, medical specialist in the community, local hospitals where
the consumers receive inpatient acute care and/or outpatient diagnostic
studies or treatment.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with the Department of
Human Services (DHS), including the Division of Developmental
Disabilities (DDD), Division of Mental Health and Hospitals, Division of
Medical Assistance and others.

Complete research to insure that the program meets all relevant standards
of health care.
Develop and maintain current program policies and procedures.
Adhere to all Agency policies and procedures. Adhere to all state
regulations and procedures. Advise the Executive Director of any changes
to the policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain effective communication strategies with all staff
and stakeholders.
Provide ongoing supervision of all staff. Dismiss staff in accordance with
the Agency personnel policies and procedures.
Consult with the Executive Director as required and necessary.
Represent the Agency at meeting/events as assigned by the Executive
Director.
Prepare required reports for the Executive Director in a timely and
professional manner.
Insure that all staff are fully trained and that licensed staff maintain their
credentials.
Maintain a quality professional program.
Performs other duties necessary and assigned by the Executive Director or
his designee.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs general office duties


Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in health care or related field.
At least two years (2) experience managing an ambulatory healthcare
program.
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Knowledge of both Medicaid and Medicare regulations.
