Sandbox+ Install Instructions
1. Extract the following 6 files in this archive to your SRTT install folder wit
h the exe:
audio_banks.xtbl
control_binding_sets.xtbl
control_schemes.xtbl
dlc3_effects.xtbl
dlc3_explosions.xtbl
sr3_city.lua
* NOTE: The Sandbox+ sr3_city.lua also contains all of the mission replay functi
ons. So, if you do use both mods then you want to overwrite the mission replay's
lua file with this one included with Sandbox+.
2. Extract both the included preload_anim.vpp_pc and misc_tables.vpp_pc here and
overwrite the existing ones:
..\saints row the third\packfiles\pc\cache\
NOTE: The preload_anim archive in this mod contains extra preload animations for
follower carry, pony cart, and avatar walk/run. If you have shitface's npc beha
vior mod installed you can safely overwrite his preload_anim with this one since
it contains all his stuff as well the new Sandbox anims.
3. Run the game, go to the OPTIONS menu and select CONTROLS, then select SET KEY
S & BUTTONS. Press F1 to RESTORE DEFAULTS ALL CATEGORIES
* NOTE Doing this will set new bind options for all the key combinations listed
below. You can then safely reconfigure any of your keys to personal preference a
s long as your custom binds don't use any of the 2nd key parameters (INSERT, HOM
E, PGUP, DELETE, END, PGDOWN, UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT arrows, [, ], or ; ). You only
have to do this once.
4. Run the game. Once you are in the open world, hold down the first key, then a
lso hold down the second key as well until the command executes. There may be a
.5 second delay until it actually activates so keep holding until a message pops
up. Also, for some commands you will need to fully release both keys before act
ivating a new one.
!!IMPORTANT!! If you are having trouble and the shortcuts are not working, make
sure that you are actually resetting your bindings in the correct menu! There ar
e a few places you can do this, but only one of them (as detailed above) will ac

If you want the alternate times of day like VR, Mars, and the other alt times, c
opy the following 2 files from the "Alternate_Time_of_Day_files" folder included
in the archive to your SRTT install folder with the exe:

If you are a modder!
There are a lot of blank keycombos we left in (20+) that are denoted by a --UNUS
ED comment. These are the perfect way to test out lua for your own projects. The
best part is that sr3_city.lua gets loaded each and every time you load a save.
That means you can have the game running, make an edit, save the lua, and then
load a game save without ever having to restart SRTT.

4) Press F+PGDOWN to teleport follower into driver seat
5) Press F+PGDOWN to start follower driving in Smooth Ride mode
6) Press F+PGDOWN again to switch to Drive-By mode where follower will shoot at
npcs while driving
5) Further repeated pressing of F+PGDOWN while in the vehicle will simply cycle
between these 2 modes
7) Exit vehicle and then press F+PGDOWN to disable passenger mode

If you're feeling adventurous and hate certain songs, you can also delete the en

l show up on the normal vehicle radios, just no longer on your on-foot Sandbox+
one.
