Highlights and Overview of the CIMB Annual Asia Pacific Conference 2013
This is the first CIMB Asia Pacific focused investor conference in Malaysia following our acquisition of the RBS
Asia Pacific Investment Banking platform. This year's conference will build on the success of our CIMB ASEAN
Conference in 2012 which was attended by over 400 investment professionals from across the region. We are
pleased to have McKinsey & Company as the knowledge partner for this event.
The CIMB Asia Pacific Conference will feature a plenary session which will discuss Asia Pacifics ascension to
the global stage and a separate dialogue on Asia Pacifics economic outlook, which will be led by a panel of the
regions corporate leaders.
Themed The Asian Century - Redefining Leadership, the conference will focus on leadership visions and
strategies as countries and business leaders seek to enhance growth, adaptability and stability in a globalising
and rapidly changing landscape. It is especially pertinent for us in Asia as it is expected that by the middle of this
century, Asia will account for more than half of the world's output, trade and investments.
