Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning

Jeremiah to Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard, saying,

Jer:3:!": #ake him, and look well to him, and do him no harm$
but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee%
Jer:3:!3: &o Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard sent, and
Nebushasban, 'ab-saris, and Nergal-sharezer, 'abmag, and all
the king of Babylon(s princes$
Jer:3:!): *ven they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of
the prison, and committed him unto +edaliah the son of ,hikam
the son of &haphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt
among the people%
Jer:3:!-: Now the word of the ./'0 came unto Jeremiah, while
he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
Jer:3:!1: +o and speak to *bed-melech the *thiopian, saying,
#hus saith the ./'0 of hosts, the +od of 2srael$ Behold, 2 will bring
my words upon this city for evil, and not for good$ and they shall
be accomplished in that day before thee%
Jer:3:!3: But 2 will deliver thee in that day, saith the ./'0: and
thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art
afraid%
Jer:3:!4: 5or 2 will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by
the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou
hast put thy trust in me, saith the ./'0%

agai!st us.

destructio!.

the destructio! of the daughter of m% people.
La:3:40: 5i!e e%e trickleth dow!$ a!d ceaseth !ot$ without
