Using the Quick Reference
Compl ete numbered i tems i n sequence.
When there are bul l eted i tems, choose onl y
one.
Bol ded terms i denti fy soft keys you press.
Place a Call
Li ft the handset and di al the number.
Di al the number and then l i ft the handset.
Press the l i ne button for your extensi on, di al
the number, and then l i ft the handset.
Press any avai l abl e button, di al the number,
and then l i ft the handset.
Press New Call, di al the number, and then l i ft
the handset.
Press a speed di al button and then l i ft the
handset.
I f you have sel ected a number from a di rectory,
press Dial, and then l i ft the handset.
Answer a Call
Li ft handset.
I f you are usi ng a headset, press Headset.
To use the speakerphone, press Speaker or
Answer.
End a Call
Hang up.
I f you are usi ng a headset, press Headset or
EndCall.
To end a speakerphone cal l , press Speaker or
EndCall.
Redial a Number
Li ft handset, press Redial.
To use the speakerphone, press Redial.
Hold a Call
Hold
Press Hold.
Retrieve
Press Resume.
To retri eve mul ti pl e cal l s, use the Navigation
button to sel ect the cal l , then press Resume.
To retri eve cal l on mul ti pl e l i nes, press the l i ne
button of the l i ne you want to pi ck up.
Transfer a Call
1. Press Trnsfr.
2. Di al transfer to number.
3. Wai t for answer and announce cal l er.
4. Press Trnsfr to transfer the cal l or press End
Cal l to hang up.
5. Press Resume to reconnect to the fi rst cal l er.
Transfer to Voice Mail
1. Press TrnsfVM.
2. Enter the reci pi ents extensi on number and
press TrnsfVM agai n
Place a Conference Call
1. Duri ng a cal l , press more and then Confrn to
open a new l i ne and put the fi rst party on hol d.
2. Pl ace a cal l to another number.
3. When the cal l connects, press Confrn agai n to
add the new party to the exi sti ng cal l wi th the
fi rst party.
To establ i sh a conference cal l between two cal l ers
to a Ci sco Uni fi ed I P phone, one acti ve and the
other on hol d, press the Confrn soft key.
End a Conference Call
Hang up the handset.
Press EndCall.
Meet-Me Conference Call
1. Obtai n a Meet-Me phone number from your
system admi ni strator.
2. Di stri bute the number to parti ci pants.
3. Obtai n a di al tone, then press more > MeetMe.
4. Di al the Meet-Me conference number.
Parti ci pants can now joi n the conference by
di al i ng i n.
To end a Meet-Me conference, al l parti ci pants
must hang up.
Ad Hoc Conference Call
Start a Conference Call
1. From a connected cal l , press Confrn. (You may
need to press the more soft key to see Confrn.)
2. Enter the parti ci pants phone number.
3. Wai t for the cal l to connect.
4. Press Confrn agai n to add the parti ci pant to
your cal l .
5. Repeat to add addi ti onal parti ci pants.
Remove Participants
1. Hi ghl i ght the parti ci pants name.
2. Press Remove. You can remove parti ci pants
onl y i f you i ni ti ated the conference.
3. To end your parti ci pati on i n a conference,
hang up or press EndCall.
Live Record a Call
1. Press LiveRcd. Thi s puts the other party
on-hol d and i ni ti ates a cal l to the confi gured
l i ve record number.
2. Press LiveRcd agai n to stop recordi ng.
J oin a Shared-Line Call
1. Hi ghl i ght the remote-i n-use cal l that you want
to joi n.
2. Press the more to navi gate to cBarge and press
cBarge.
Call Forwarding
All
1. Press CFwdAll.
2. Di al forward to number.
3. Press the Accept.
Voice Mail
1. Press CFwdAll.
2. Di al voi ce mai l number.
3. Press EndCall.
Speed Dial
1. Press CFwdAll .
2. Press Speed Di al button.
