Installing the INQ Platform

1. Remove all simulator USB tokens prior to installation.
2. First time installers proceed to step 4.
3. If upgrading from a previous INQ platform, first remove any existing INQ platform before release 7.04.1006, by
going into the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Look for MasterINQ70 and remove it.

4. From the Simulator Suite in MasterCard Online click on or button.
5. Next click on the Downloads link on the upper left of the page.
6. Scroll down to download MasterCardINQ 7.04.1006 platform.


7. Right click on the Setup.exe file, select Run as Administrator and run through the set up selecting all defaults.

Installing the MAS or MDFS Simulator

****Note.Installation steps for the MAS (Auth) or MDFS (Debit) simulator are the same.

1. From the Simulator Suite web page in MasterCard Online, click on the or button.
2. Next click on the Downloads link.
3. For both simulators there is a full install file and if applicable, a current Service Pack update file.
If downloading the release for the first time, then select the Full installation file.
If the current release simulator is already installed then the latest Service Pack update file is the one to
install.
4. For the full release file scroll down to download the software.
5. Click the button and when prompted save the zip file to the local PC.
Note: For the service pack only bypass this step and go to step 10.

The above is an example of a Full install file. All current Full install release files will be available under
the Downloads Link for each Simulator.

6. Locate the downloaded zip file.
7. Double click on it and click Unzip.
8. Save the executable to the local PC where it will be easy to locate.
9. Right click the extracted Simulator executable file, and select Run as Administrator, selecting all defaults.
(In the above step it assumed that the current user has Admin rights.)

10. If installing only a Service Pack Update, click on the Updates link.
11. Click on the button and save the zip file to your PC.
12. Locate the downloaded zip file.
13. Double click on the downloaded zip file and click Unzip.
14. Save the executable to the local PC where it will be easy to locate.
15. Right click the extracted Simulator executable file, and select Run as Administrator, selecting all defaults.
(In the above step it assumed that the current user has Admin rights.)

The above is an example of a Service Pack update. All current Service Pack updates will be available
under the Updates Link for each Simulator.

16. Save the simulator license file(s) to the following location:

Windows XP- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\MasterCard\licenses
Windows 7- C:\Programdata\mastercard\licenses
17. Insert the Simulator USB token into a USB port and open the Simulator.

18. You should see the Simulator version number displayed at the top when you open the simulator. This is
confirmation of the version installed.
