too wea& to re!ove the!selves "ro! his power .... Onl% love

Love was the only !eans whi(h rendered the adversar%
powerless) onl% love (ould (on'uer hi! .... ,et the *eings had
voluntaril% renoun(ed love) the% repelled +% illu!ination o" love
and there*% were (o!pletel% at +% adversar%.s !er(%.

nd thus hu!anit% repentantl% would have returned to +e within

right kind of love would have trans"erred itsel" onto all his

Only love was able to atone this guilt. nd the "irst hu!an
*eings trul% could have !ustered love) "or their surrounding
(reation o""ered the! in(o!para*le glories whi(h) a"ter the
agoni1ing state o" (onstraint) !ade the! *liss"ull% happ% and
this *eatitude (ould also have triggered a divine love within
the!selves) a love whi(h onl% ever had to give than&s and praise
and (ould have inspired their deepl% "elt devotion "or +e ....

!isused) $ also had to grant +% adversar% the right to "ight "or
his "ollowers during their earthl% li"e. nd in order to reveal to
