QUESTION 1

Gadgets are tech tool and it was created to facilitate the human in to do a job as well as
communication. Use gadgets are increasingly popular among people in Malaysia. In the past,
it can only be used by corporate employees and businessmen only.But now, gadgets
affordable for most people does not matter whether career women, students, youth and
children.Examples of such gadgets as smart phones, ipad and tab.
Some may think that the use of the gadgets that are popular nowadays has destroyed
communication among family and friends. In my opinion, I do not agree with the assumption.
This is because, the use of gadgets need in modern life nowadays whether to perform a tasks,
education and communication. Functional gadgets in this era are needed because the gadgets
can assist in the daily routine of life.
In modern times and more challenging, the use of gadgets such as smart phones is needed.
This is because smart phones are helping in daily communication. We do not need to bother to
go to someones home to share or to convey information. We can deliver information and chat
through the facilities available in smart phones like whatsapp, wechat, email and twitter. Not
only that, the safety of an individual will be more secure because the phone is used to dial the
police or anyone else in an emergency. Thus the use of non-destructive gadgets, but it greatly
simplifies the communication of business.
In addition, the use of smart phones can also strengthen relationships with friends and
family especially for those who are away in a foreign land. They can contact your family and
friends at a cost that is not too expensive. With the advent of 3G greater, we are able to make
video calls to loved ones and can see their faces and talking. Technology is useful to
strengthen the ties between family and friends. By means of these family relationship and
friendships will not be destroyed.
In the aspect of the use of gadgets, each user should be smart enough to manage their
gadgets. Each user must create a balance of gadgets to use the gadgets and time to spend with
family and friends. Each user must choose the priority and the right time to use gadgets and
act wisely depending on the situation.

For example, when a person is in attendance at an event such as death, he does not have to
answer email or twitter unless it passes a very important thing. Had he done so, he would be
considered insensitive or disrespectful at the ceremony.
As a good approach, each user must keep gadgets while doing activities with friends and
family as exercise, perform prayers and religious needs or while eating together. By the way,
it would allow a person to focus on family, friends and activities performed.
The conclusion here is that, the use of gadgets cannot be destroyed communication among
family and friends because the availability of gadgets such as smart phones, ipad and tablets
can strengthen the relations between family and friends, especially for those who are away
from their family. Apart from that, it is also an important tool in the event of an emergency.
So if a user wise use of his gadgets in any situation or condition, it will not result in
communication between family and friends can be destroyed.

Malaysia is a country that is now emerging and are heading towards the 21
st
century.As we
are all aware of 21
st
century is where it leads to a great change to the world community in
general and Malaysia in particular communities. The 21
st
century will bring the world
community to another phase of life in which the displacement paradigm it covers various
aspects in terms of industrialization, education and short-term planning to long-term.
In the world of passion towards the 21
st
century, the education sector is not exception to be
core to change. The impact of globalization on the education sector is evident in developed
countries like the U.S, Japan and Australia. Thus Malaysia as a developing country must be
prepared to experience a change in the education sector. In the era of information technology
and communication, Malaysia should be prepared for the changes that prepare students use
text books to an electronic medium.
As we all know electronics media has a very important role to deliver a variety of
information such as education, culture, economy, entertainment and news.That way it will
help the students get a variety of information in a more fast, quick and simple in their tutoring
sessions. With the advent of electronic media, students can gain knowledge and not just rely
on textbooks.
In addition, to use an electronic medium should be efficient.Consequently, all student have
the opportunity to make themselves more efficient and timely in handling the electronic
medium. In this way, it will open the minds of students to deal with the IT world and not just
use the textbook as a references.It also can make a person more active students to think.
While the electronic media has many advantages, but there are some disadvantages of
using the electronic medium. It is a high cost. For students who are poor and live in rural
area was only possible using the electronic medium only in school and could not continue to
use at home. As we know, the use of the electronic medium in schools also limited due to the
increasing number of students and the students have to take turns.
In addition, the use of electronic media will also lead to health problem students.This is
because, if a student too focused on the medium electronics it will affect your health
especially vision.Apart from vision problem, the students are also more inclined towards the
symptoms of unhealthy as a result of misinformation spread in the electronic medium.

Therefore, the head of 21
st
century, Malaysia needs to consider the various aspects of both
the pros and cons of change from textbooks to electronic medium so that it can benefit all,
especially the students and will not pose a problem to them.

QUESTION 5

Malaysia is a country with people of different race and different backgrounds. Therefore,
no matter whether in the urban or rural areas or in the workplaces there is a wide range of
people of all races and backgrounds in touch, meet and deal with each other. With the advent
of multi-racial people, enabling people to understand each other, learn about different cultures
and social systems of other races and thus understand their sensitivity to be able to tolerate,
cooperate and respect each other to form a united multi-ethnic to spur development country
towards excellence.
However, even in the challenging times currently busy with individual lives and their
careers.Arguably, whether at work or at home relationship with each other was reduced due to
the busy individual. For example, when they are at work everyone is busy performing their
work to forget the time to be with friends. In addition, the neighborhood either in urban or
rural areas are no less facing the same problem of lack of communication between each other.
For Example individuals who live in urban areas would leave home in the morning and
coming home at night and do not know whats going on in their neighborhood. While in rural
areas, only seniors living alone who is still establishing relationships with each other than
with the young people who are busy with their own world.
Therefore, in order to create back links that could be said has eroded every individual
should have the responsibility and play the role of bridging ties back either at the workplace
or neighborhood. When we are at work, every employee must take time to be with friends.
For example monthly meeting.In this way, each individual can give suggestions, opinions and
express their problems. In addition, to strengthen the relationship at work, we can also hold
birthday celebrations together or as a monthly event hosted so that the relationship between
the partners can become closer.
Also at work, relationships of all races and backgrounds should be pursued when we lived
in our neighborhood. We can hold a family celebration in our neighborhoods. When all the
family get together, thats where we can mutually get to know one another. We can also go to
a neighbors house when they get sick calamity. Indirectly by our presence, to reduce
suffering or problems experienced.

When there are people of different races and different backgrounds, we are able to create a
cohesive society. This can be done through the culture of visiting each other during festivals
such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Christmas and Hari Gawai. Apart from
united, we can also create concern for our neighborhood like to help when we ask for help and
neighbors watching the house when the neighbor is not at home.
The conclusion here, with the people of various races and backgrounds of each individual
to live in harmony.There will be revitalizing the ideals of the country to form a united and
loving as envisaged in Vision 2020 goals.

Question 6

Change is something that is definitely on in life. Good or bad, healthy or ill, peace or chaos
and so is the mark of change. Change is not constant thing but is the matter that can be
expanded, dynamic, changing thing. Whats going on in the lives of people in this world since
birth. Child hood, adolescent, adulthood and married life is the process of phase change.
Changes may occur either sooner or later in every individual, community, organization and
nation.
However, it is difficult to make changes in life. Seems to me, for someone to turn its
covers the various aspects the persons desire and attitude to change and consider whether
changes are important to him or to give problem it itself.
Since birth until the person go through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood next person
has to be educated and nurtured by the attitude and behavior that have been absorbed in
himself and his life.
Therefore, it is difficult for a person to change because he was comfortable with what he
suffered now. In addition, feelings and a desire for change is not born of itself is either forced
or no support from family or people close to him. When the situation is going to cause
someones feelings and desires to weaken and change in him failed. As we all know, if
someone is to be changed it should be born of itself, without or any coercion form others and
get support from family or people close to him.
Change in life can also be influenced by the environment and the current situation. If an
individual is less exposure of the current development environment and cause the changes in
his life sooner or invite failure. As we all know the current state of the environment and as the
use of computers, the internet and the other technological creations is also important to help
person change. Every individual should have exposure to the environment and the current
situation in order to help a person to change.
Knowledge is very important at this time. Discretion to change a person requires extensive
knowledge. In an individual does not have sufficient knowledge of it will result in an
individual is left behind. When we have sufficient knowledge of it will help us to make
changes in our lives guided by the knowledge that we have. Therefore, knowledge is also
considered a key aspect for an individual to change.

As finally, the change is something that is positive and constructive. However, to
implement changes in a persons life, it requires long time and high capacity. Generally, the
changes occurs at the beginning of the self and the life of every individual. Changes can
change a persons life. Whether good or not depends on the changes brought by each
individual.

Question 7

A chief is the leader is an institution, whether big or small institutions where there is a
group led underneath. Typically, the head is the one who has the responsibility for managing
and administering the organization in various ways. Head also plays an important role in
bringing to an organization or institution in accordance with the desired direction whether it is
a good thing or the other way around.
As we know, the success of organization depends on the performance of administrators , or
in other words the lead. Therefore, in order to achieve success a leader must possess several
important qualities. In addition, according to Zainal Abidin Mohamad, 1998, a good leader
must have certain specific features in its role as best as possible and to master the skills
required to manage the members to achieve organizational goals.
As a leader there are some qualities that are often associated with him. Among the qualities
that a leader should have the knowledge and self-confidence.Self- confidence means the
extent to which an individual feels comfortable with the judgment, ability and skills.A leader
who is confident and knowledgeable of the area more successful than leaders who have low
self-esteem and lack of knowledge.Therefore, as a leader, self-knowledge and confidence to
be on him.
In addition, a leader must be responsible. This attitude is essential to ensure that a chief is
likely to perform tasks or career directed him with caution and be prepared to comply with
regulations. Usually a leader who will responsible for subordinates success led and
administered by the organization.
A leader must also have a means of understanding and reconciliation emotional ability to
cope with stress, conflict and frustration. If a leader able to go through obstacles is more
effective than a leader who cannot adapt if in a stressful situation. Apart from having the
adjustment, a leader must also be sociable or friendly. This is because, people who like to
socialize normally acquired much experience and too easily influenced people in the
organization.

Within the organization, a leader must also be accepted by those who are led of him. He must
trust, cooperative, friendly and polite. People like this usually cooperative. A leader must also
have the social nature of which has its cooperation, the ability to communicate and be able to
form a group (Mustafa Hj Daud , 1996).
In addition, the leader must also play a role as a source of reference and subordinates, to be
a model or an example and demonstrate the attributes, behaviors and abilities that can be
emulated a guide for those who are led by him.
In conclusion, every leader should possess every quality mentioned. Event each leader can
implement each value mentioned earlier, there will be born a respected leader and a role
model for another people. No further occurrence of widespread corruption at all levels,
attitudes or crony favoritism. Indeed, each leader must be committed to the task without
leaving the leadership qualities of good leadership.
