Dear Special Secretary of the Water Department of the Ministry for Environment and Climate
Changes,

Dr Konstantinos Triantis,

After checking your CV carefully, I realised that amongst others, you have collaborated in the past with
many Universities, both in Greece and abroad.

In particular,

i) You have been a PostDoc Researcher at the Arorean Biodiversity Group, Agronomy
Department, Azores University.
ii) You have been a researcher at the Faculty of Geography, Oxford University, (your
supervisors, being, Reader Paulo A V Borges and Prof. J . Whittaker),
iii) Also a scientific Fellow of Oxford University Centre for Environment, (OUCE), at Oxford
University and many more. Well Done!!!!!!!!

Therefore, taking into consideration all the above, as well the fact that you are at present the Special
Secretary of the Water Department of the Ministry for Environment and Climatic Changes, and also
based on the results of your report that there are NO Water Torrents ( !!!!!!!) within the area in
which the OEDA ( Landfill Area) of Grammatriko is based and, having repeatedly experienced the
ecological/natural disaster that occurs, every single time in the aftermath of a heavy rainfall in the
Grammatiko area.

I would, as follows,

- Ask the Honourable Professors, (Prof. Paulo AV Borges and Prof. J Whittaker), would they
keep staying in their position, in the aftermath of all the above disasters, or would they have promptly
submitted their resignations???????????????????????????????????????? (Please see attached pictures
first)

- Since the decision is purely of a political and not of a scientific nature, as it should normally be, if you
treated your scientific area/field with respect, what would you do, seeing that all the adverse effects that
may well emerge out of the function of HYTA,( Landfill), may well lead to the poisoning of a large number
of inhabitants of the Grammatiko area???????????????????????????????????????????????

Honourable Professors,
Prof. Paulo AV Borges and Prof. J Whittaker
Please take a stance on the entire matter, it is an issue of vital importance!

Warm Regards

Kyriakos Gkikas

Background of facts

Report of control for OEDA, Grammatiko area, drafted by the General Inspector, Dr Panagiotis Merkos:

A] 18/01/2012, OIK : 101 Report of partial control of compliance with the environmental terms and
environmental legislation, in relation to the construction of the installation for the Waste Management in
the area Black Mountain, of Grammatiko.

B] 07/03/2014, OIK: 634& 635 Act of Confirmation of Violation towards the Attiki Constituency and
K/X Lamda Tehniki SA, ILEKTOR SA, MESOGEIOS ATEE, the main and Assistant Contractors of the
Construction of the Installation for Waste Management, (OEDA), of North-Eastern Attiki based in the area
of Black Mountain, Attiki.

C] From reports A and B, it can be proved that there are obvious errors in relation to the construction of
the installation, which were deliberately concealed when the Environmental Consequences Report was
drafted.
Furthermore, there were discovered another 6 violations:

In addition to this,

Report drafted by Dr Konstantinos Triantis,

. there is no reference to construction within an area that is crossed over by a water
torrent/stream, without the proper permission to have been granted.

(see the report drafted by Dr Konstantinos Triantis- Secretary of the Water Department of the Ministry
of Environment and Climatic Change, report dated 29th April 2014, amongst others special reference is
being made as to the NON = Existence of a Water Stream).

CONCLUSION
- Which of the above government/state clerks do you believe are doing their job properly and which of
them have breached their fiduciary duties towards the state and the citizens?????????????????????????
Don't you think that they must be judged by us, ordinary thinking citizens?????????????????????????????
Welcome to Greek Corruption!!!
Shall we have your thoughts please from everyone ??????????
