GOAL to Organize the Global IP Conference and Exhibition in London this September to discuss the
Rising Importance of IP Issues and Developments in the Global IP Industry

LONDON, June 27, 2014: UK businesses invest over 65 billion annually in a thriving intellectual property
(IP), largely because they see patents as the driving force behind global innovation. But change is on the
horizon. In 2015 the European patent system will change with the introduction of the unitary patent
system. In the US, the patent system has already begun to roll out reforms with the enactment of the
America Invent Act. Are you ready for the new world of IP? Recognizing the challenges and
opportunities that these patent reforms present, the Global Outsourcing Association for Lawyers (GOAL)
is producing the London IP Conference to take place in 2014. This conference will gather IP lawyers and
