PC BASED HOME SECURITY ROBOT

Objective:
The object of this project is to control Camera position on the Robot through PC
and also provide the security in order to avoid accident due to fire and gas.
Scope:
This project is very useful in the security areas such that Banks and Supermarket
and also in the industrial companies.
Brief Methodolo!:
This project is designed with icro Controller R! Transmitter and Receiver"
#river Circuits along with otors" Camera" Tuner Card" $as sensing circuit" !ire sensing
circuit" Robot odel and PC.
%n this project Camera is placed on the Robot. &hen it capture pictures these
Pictures are odulated with carrier and Transmitted to PC. %n PC side the demodulator is
used to remove the carrier and then captured pictures are given to PC through tuner Card.
icro Controller is used to control the Robot. 'ere the icro controller may be
(tmel or P%C both are flash type reprogrammable micro controller #river Circuit are
controlled the otors attached in the Robo odel. %n this project R! section is used to
make the data Transfer between micro controller and PC. Transmitter is connected in the
PC side and R! Receiver is connected in the icro controller side.
(ny information signal from the PC side is odulated and Transmitted to icro
controller through R! Transmitter. The R! Receiver the Received that signal and given to
demodulator in which carrier signals are removed and then fed to icro controller.
%n icro controller we have already programmed. So it receives that signals and
activates the #river Circuit. #river Circuit consists of Transmitter which acts as switch.
So it can control the otors which are attached in the Robot. %f you want to move the
robot in the forward direction corresponding information is transmitted from PC to
Receiver section. %n Receiver section the icro controller operate the robot in forward
direction. %f any fire happened in the way fire sensor will detect that fire and sends the
signal to microcontroller through amplifier circuit. icrocontroller will receive the signal
and activates alarm with )*#s driver circuit. +ow alarm makes the sound for audio
indication and )*#s blinking for visual indication and then camera captured the
corresponding pictured and Transmitted to PC.
By using this project we can control both Robot and Camera remotely with help
of PC.
