Integrity . . . what a quizzical word!
A more quizzical word than Ive ever heard!
What does it mean, what does it stand for?
Why the color purple? I want to learn more.
Purple is power & shows courage great
When decisions & moral stands you must make.

Integrity is thinking and doing whats right
At all times & places . . . morning, noon & night,
Integrity is living what you know to be true
When no one is watching what would you do?

On the fifteenth of May, just leaving carpool
In the cool of the day, down the hall of the school,
She was walking to class, enjoying school joys
When little Annie Carrigan heard a strange noise.

As she walked down the hall, toward the loud sound
She noticed a young girl & people standing around,
They were laughing & pointing at the girl with sad eyes
Those girls who were bullying were TWICE her size.

{Annie Carrigan character:} I stopped & I thought & said, This is not right!
And I pushed my way in til the girl was in sight
Then with a loud voice that was unusually strong,
I said, This must stop this bulling is wrong!
You need to be kind, you need to be sweet
To every single person & who that you meet.

of May, in room 203
People were nervous a test there would be,
Macy had studied & then studied some more
She really needed to get a high score.
The test did begin & Macy was on number 2
When her friend from behind whispered . . .

I dont have a clue!
What did you get for number 2 . . . 3 & 4?
Please help me I need a good score!

I stopped & I thought & said, This is not right
And I covered my paper so my answer wasnt in sight.
I turned to my friend & with a kind smile nodded no.
The answers to the questions I just would not show.
I told her I would help her study for the next test.
Id help her get a good grade that would be my quest!
