Enterprise Social, and Leadership, Sales & Marketing. These key market trends
represent the current, most proftable models for Microsoft partners.
You will have the opportunity to attend more than 350 sessions within these focus
areas. You can discover sessions that are tailored to your business needs and build
your perfect schedule for WPC using our Session Scheduler in WPC Connect*.
Come learn how Microsoft solutions can help you achieve your business goals!
Cloud
Industry experts tell us its increasingly a hybrid world. Forecasts predict customer
demand will continue to evolve as solutions traverse physical, virtual and cloud
platforms. Are you evolving your business model and making the right investments
to take advantage of shifting customer needs? Only Microsoft offers the range of
solution options necessary to deliver resilient cloud solutions that enable partners
and customers to take effciency, cost savings and agility to the next level.
Big Data
Theres never been a better time to tap into the value of big data for growing your
business. With data top on CIO and business leaders priority lists, its time to evolve
your practice to the next level using new data solutions from Microsoft. Help your
customers surface the value from big data, to ask and answer new questions, to
predict and seize business opportunities, and ultimately to turn big data into
business results.
Mobility & Devices
Welcome to the era of mobility. Access anytime. Connection anywhere. Device
options. Apps for virtually every need. Customers want to embrace mobility but ask,
what about rising security threats to our business? Microsoft is your source for
complete mobility solutions. Unparalleled security management features. Devices
and services that offer the breadth and resilience your customers require. Support
for 24/7 accesson premises, hybrid or in the cloud.
Enterprise Social
The world has become a giant network. Information moves rapidly, and people are
more connected than ever before. Your customers are leveraging the power of social
networks at home and at work to get more done, faster. To remain competitive,
businesses need to change the way they work to avoid being disrupted. Learn how
you can help your customers respond faster by harnessing the power of Microsoft's
Enterprise Social vision.

Leadership, Sales & Marketing
We live in a world of increasing business velocity, near universal connectivity and
noisy, competing messages. This has made the effectiveness of your leadership, sales
and marketing even more important to your business success. Do you and your
team have all the right tools? Microsoft has assembled top subject matter experts to
offer practical insights that enable you to inject state-of-the-art marketing, sales and
leadership techniques into your career and into your business.
Session Types
Track Keynote
Industry experts, partners, and Microsoft present top customer opportunities, and
how partner, and Microsoft solutions are helping them solve their key problems. This
year we have 5 Track KeynotesCloud, Big Data, Enterprise Social, Mobility & Devices,
and Leadership, Sales and Marketing.
Breakout Session
During over 250 sessions, top worldwide subject matter experts, successful partners,
satisfed customers, and independent analysts share their knowledge with you.
Informative, revealing, and entertaining, our sessions focus in customer scenarios,
real-world examples, tangible solutions, in-depth reviews of key business strategies,
and return on investment.
Interactive Discussion
With less of a focus on presentation, Interactive Discussions are most successful when
the small-in-size audience is open to sharing, is active in participation, and possesses
some knowledge of the topic at hand. These over 80 sessions are kept small in seating
and room size on purpose to foster the intimacy of the discussion.
Arrive early to claim your seat!
Regional Session
Come learn how Microsofts latest solutions can help you achieve growth and
increase your proftability in your region. This year we have 22 Regional Keynotes:
APAC, Brazil, Canada, CEE, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy,
Japan, LATAM, MEA, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden,

Wireless Internet Access
While you are attending the Worldwide Partner Conference, please feel free to
connect to and use one of the following WiFi networks:
WPC2014 and WPC2014-5GHz
Please ensure you are not connected to an ad-hoc/peer-to-peer network and that you
are in an area that supports WiFi.
The WPC2014-5GHz network is the higher performing network with more available
channels, faster speeds, and is available throughout the Convention Center and
keynote arena. If your WiFi device sees the WPC2014-5GHz network please select
it. Please note that in the WPC Commons and keynote arena, Microsoft has cleared
wireless access points of the congested 2.4Ghz frequency to allow as much room as
possible for demos. The WPC2014-5GHz network will be the only network available
to attendees in these areas.
Due to the user load in congested areas, you may experience a slow connection or
have diffculty connecting to the network at times. If that is the case, you may want to
move to a less congested area.
Rogue APs can cause problems for attendees attempting to use the wireless system
and can degrade WiFi performance for everyone. Personal APs or base-stations of any
kind should not be used inside the convention center or keynote arena.
Acceptable Use Policy
When using the WPC WiFi network, please be mindful of the following:
Peer-to-peer traffc such as Bit Torrent and the like consume a disproportionate
amount of bandwidth. Please refrain from non-conference related peer-to-peer
activities to minimize this effect.
Please be considerate and share available bandwidth with your fellow delegates.
Downloading large video fles from a video sharing service, for example,
consumes a disproportionate amount of bandwidth, and negatively impacts the
experience of your fellow delegates.
Please do not actively scan the network. Many of the tools used to scan a range of
IP addresses will effectively consume all available bandwidth on a given channel,
again negatively impacting the experience of your fellow delegates.
Security and the WPC Wireless Network
The wireless network at WPC is a shared network, designed to require minimal
confguration by attendees. We have enabled WPA security protocol, though we do
recommend that you be prudent in securing your resources, as you should on any
public wireless network.
Network
Access Be a Good Wireless Neighbor
In order for Microsoft to deliver a robust and dependable wireless experience for
all WPC attendees, we ask that you read and follow these best practices prior to
connecting to the wireless or wired networks:
