TOUCHSCREEN BASED HOME AUTOMATION

Now a days everything go automatic as scientific world provides fresh and

proven technologies. These technologies not only make our life simple but effortless.

who are unable to perform normal human activities caused by any serious disease or
accident. Here comes the advantage of home automation. There are many ways by
which one can do this. GSM technology is used here is because the range it provides is
unbeatable.
The control section consists of a touchscreen and a pc with ava program.
!hen we login to a page using touchscreen. Then by selecting a particular device we
can make that device on" off or can detect the present status of the particular device. #y
touching the screen a message will be send to the gsm modem in the home from a
modem in the pc section.

modem which is placed in home. The GSM modem is a device which can do all the
operation of a cell phone but not has speaker and microphone. The SMSs received by
modem from cell phone is transferred to a micro controller and micro controller decides
what to do with that SMS with help of a pre burned algorithm.

MAX 232
The MAX232 is an integrated circuit" first created by Ma8im 'ntegrated +roducts" that
