performance product especially developed for the industrial market.
ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 has been created for the TDO-chains of biaxial stretching lines. It has been tested
under hardest operating conditions in our accredited laboratory for more than 3 years. Furthermore, ADDINOL
Cliptec XHS 280 was long-time tested in practical applications at different types of sliding chains at sequential lm
stretching lines.
After receiving excellent practical results in every particular parameter, ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 has been ofcially
released by Brckner Maschinenbau GmbH Siegsdorf as supplier of stretching lines for oriented lms.
ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 is a high performance lubricant.
Due to its exclusive additives, ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280
protects safely the friction partners from abrasion even
under highest pressure. As a result of the highly improved
static wear period the service life of the chain track system
is considerably increased.

the advantages of ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280. Comparing
ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 and a released competitive
product under equal test conditions (duration/pressure) the
wear calottes are less than half the size.

None of these plastics will be attacked by this high
technology oil. The number of lm breaks under well proven
production parameters will be reduced signicantly.

ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 is physiologically harmless.
ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 has been especially designed
for using in the production of biaxial oriented lms required
in food industry. It complies with the requirements of the
NSF Non-food Compounds Registration Program.
ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 has passed the NSF
international specications and is listed under registration
number 135634.
The category codes H2 and HX 2 of ADDINOL Cliptec
XHS 280 conrm the physiological harmlessness as a NSF
listed product.
ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 is a Clip-Cleaner
ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 creates signicantly less residues
compared with common high temperature lubricants and
minimises the deposits down to a low level which has been
never reached before.
Lubrication points in the chain track system, distribution
device and lube pipes do not block. ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280
does not form deposits on the chain links or inside the bolt
bush pairing.

280 from oxidation and in this way from premature
ageing. ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 bases on
saturated esters and is extremely thermal stable.

The oil consumption depends directly on the chain
velocity, process temperature and lm parameters.
Through the use of ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 the
evaporation loss of chain lubricant is low. Combined with
the thermal stability the oil consumption set point is low.
For the nishing there is an additional advantage:
Due to the minimal evaporation loss the whole oven
atmosphere comes less under strain with oil! Products
like BOPP, BOPPK, BOPA and BOPET can be easier
metallised. In return for this, ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280
does not really pollute the environment.
Changing to ADDINOL Cliptec XHS 280 is
uncomplicated.
The change procedure is combined with an effective
cleaning procedure using a less quantity of ADDINOL
Chain System Cleaner BR.

The sliding chain: It is the heart inside the TDO and a strongly stressed machine element. The
chain with a length of approximately 200 meters (OS ; DS each!) is operating at temperatures
up to 240 C at a very high production speed for maximum output reaching more then 6 tons per
hour.
This mechanical work has to be accomplished by the chain. Furthermore, this load must be
intercepted by the oil.
Your risk - your choice of chain lubricant: The chosen and applied high temperature chain oil
signicantly determines the economic life - time of your chain as well as the maintenance and
service costs. Most of common chain oils are not stable enough regarding TDO temperatures
and cause deposits up to blocking the lube pipes leading to an increased wear and production
loss.
Downtime caused by cleaning the chain track system, high maintenance time due to periodically
blocked lube pipes and nally pulling out the chain lead to a signicant loss in nancial terms -
