The FSU Students for Life group
started just this Fall and, even as
newcomers to our movement, they
were able to save a baby by
sidewalk counseling in front of their
local abortion facility.
IOWA State University
ISU Students for Life hosted MTV
reality stars, Catelynn and Tyler, at
an event on adoption, bringing over
550 students out to the presentation.
During the event, an adoption
counselor helped an ISU student,
who was 2 months pregnant and
considering abortion, choose Life!
Louisiana State University
LSU Students for Life sidewalk
counsel every day of the week in
front of their local abortion facility.
This courageous team of students is
responsible for many baby saves,
thanks to their persistent efforts. In
the Fall of 2013, they saved at
least 5 babies and in the Spring of
2014, they reported 4 more!
CLEMSON UNIVERSITY (SC)
Clemson Students for Life held a
prayer vigil in front of their local
abortion facility. During that one
hour, 2 women chose life for their
babies!
Oakland University (MI)
Students for Life at Oakland University
was struggling to get students to join their
prayer efforts in front of their local
abortion facility. However, all of that
changed when a mother and daughter saw
the students outside of the facility: Heres
the story:
We have been praying every Friday
morning at our local abortion facility. And
it is like pulling teeth trying to get students
to come but for some reason we had 6
students with us this week. After an hour
and a half, a girl and her mother pulled up
next to us in their car. They were leaving
the facility. The mother told us that her
daughter has been praying for some kind of
sign that she shouldnt go through with her
abortion. When they arrived at the facility
and saw us praying, she took that as her
sign. The girl leaned out of the car and
shouted at us, Im choosing Life. It was
beautiful! This happened to us last week as
well when another young lady walked into
the facility sobbing. She avoided us
completely but after 15 minutes, she
walked out and thanked us. Smiling, she
said, Im keeping her! We have been
praying at this facility for over a year now
and have never experienced all of this!
2013-2014
Baby Saves
During the 2013-2014 school year, pro-life student
groups reported that they saved at least 50 babies from
abortion and assisted hundreds of women in their work on
campuses and in their communities. While this number does
not include all of the lives saved by the more than 830
Students for Life groups across the nation, we wanted you to
see some of the highlights of our work together.

Lane Community College (OR)
While handing out recruitment
flyers for their Students for Life
group on campus, members of
Students for Life met a pregnant
student who was concerned about
parenting while in college. The
group presented the young mother
with their resource brochures. After
finding out all that was available to
her, the pregnant student chose Life.
Soon after, she learned that she
was carrying twins!

University of Alabama- Tuscaloosa
In the Fall of 2013, Bama Students
for Life organized and directed the
Tuscaloosa 40 Days for Life
campaign. During the campaign,
they confirmed that 6 babies were
saved in front of the facility! Now,
the group continues to lead the local
community in sidewalk counseling
efforts.
FLORIDA atlantic University
During the Fall 2013 semester, FAU
Students for Life reported that they
saved at least one baby on campus
through their group efforts!
