WORK HIGHLIGHTS
I. Jan 2011 Sep 2012: Senior Executive Human Capital Mgt. at HeyMath!, Chennai
1. Got promoted within a year of my joining in recognition of my performance in 2011-12.
2. Recruited 40 work interns in a 2-month talent hunt -through campaigns, campus drives
and job boards like LinkedIn- to effectively enable a new product launch. Later retained
12 candidates of this talent pool and absorbed them on rolls.
3. Planned meticulously and coordinated company-wide corporate days flying in our
employees from SA, SG, UK and from offices in Delhi, Sikkim, Bengaluru and
Hyderabad.
4. Worked with my manager to put an effective Group Mediclaim Policy in place.
5. Identified and sorted PF compliance issues of international workers.
6. Initiated & coordinated corporate Karate classes by identifying an in-house Karate
master.

II. Nov 2008 Apr 2010: HR Executive at Fifth Generation Technologies, Chennai
1. Participated in the interesting endeavor of Kalaignar 85 mega job fair for rural
unemployment in Trichy and in a day screened a talent pool of 200+ applicants,
shortlisted 25 and later took 2 candidates on board.
2. Drafted employee handbook; Worked with my manager to revise HR policies to include
sabbatical & other employee benefits to ensure being an equal opportunity employer.
3. Introduced & run company-wide periodic e-newsletter with a space for employee
creative contributions and built an in-house newsletter team with relevant talent to
enable inclusivity and efficiency.
4. Designed templates & brought in the practice of personalized mailers for employee
birthdays & Wedding eve.
5. Created and maintained Alumni database.

MY KRAS IN A NUTSHELL
Conduct periodic manpower planning to appropriately staff, in terms of both quantity and
type of resource.
Work with respective project heads to develop job descriptions and selection process for
defined job positions.
Source candidates through diverse channels like recruitment consultants, recruitment
campaigns, job boards like LinkedIn & Glassdoor, tech-oriented sites like stack overflow,
portals such as twenty19 & fleximoms and upcoming search tools like Graph Search by
tracking key metrics (eg. candidate per source, cost per source, cost per hire etc.).
Facilitate selection process while ensuring efficiency of offer-to-joining ratio. Make job offers
and ensure offer acceptance. Work with admin and IT infrastructure team to provide
relevant infrastructure for new joinees.
Coordinate campus recruitment programs at institutes like CEG, GLIM, LIBA, MCC, Stella
Maris, Ethiraj, Image etc.
Structurize orientation programs in consultation with respective program managers and
execute as deemed fit for each job position.
Facilitate onboarding formalities- provide with ID card, welcome kit & policy
briefs/brochures, introduce joinees over a welcome post/mailer, communicate & facilitate
employee benefits and leave eligibility for each joinee(based on the company policies) via
intranet by enabling his/her unique employee page; work with intranet admin.
Communicate the requisites for any new joinee/periodic updates to the payroll team, group
insurance consultant, PF consultant etc.
Update employee database Manual & electronic; Update skills inventory to enable periodic
skills assessment.
Participate in training needs analysis and necessitate appropriate training programs.
Moderate and facilitate employee communications & conversations via the different internal
communication channels (company network, intranet, newsletter, appreciation & notice
boards etc.)
Coordinate employee forums/committees and run focus groups when deemed relevant.
Organize corporate events that include team building programs, reward programs,
corporate/annual days and townhall meetings.
Coordinate periodic performance appraisal process with program managers and in due
course consolidate inputs, calculate incentives based on numbers set post market study &
profit flow; also help my manager to sort out any corrective incentives and due promotions.
Facilitate employee engagement surveys periodically, generate reports based on survey
results and take up discussions with the leadership for action plan on the consolidated
results.
Process exit formalities, conduct exit interviews and procure exit gifts.
