LhWarning
This unit is intended for operation in DC 12volt,
negative-grounded vehicles only. Never use it in
24- volt vehicles such as heavy trucks or diesel
vehicles with cold-region specifications.
Do not install this product in locations where it
may interfere with the operation of the steering
wheel, shift lever, brake pedal, etc. Otherwise,
an accident or injury may result.
Check for hoses, electrical wiring and fuel tank,
in the surrounding areas and underneath before
drilling holes to avoid risk of damages or injury.
Do not use vehicle's nuts or bolts for grounding
or installation that are related to the steering
wheel, brake system or fuel system to avoid
accident or injury.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle's
battery before starting installation to prevent
shorts, electric shock accidents or injuries.
Secure cables and harnesses with electrical tape
or wire ties. Never route wires or cables near
steering wheel, brake pedal or shifter.
Do not disassemble or modify this product.
Doing so may cause an accident, fire or
electrical shock.
Stop using the Rear Camera if there is a liquid
instruction, smoke or strange odor comes from
the Rear Camera. Continued operation may
cause an accident, fire or electrical shock.
Do not install this product in locations where it
may obstruct the driver's view, or where it may
endanger passengers in the vehicle. Otherwise,
an accident or injury may result.
Wear protective goggles to protect your eyes
from debris which may cause injury or blindness.
LhCaution
Do not allow the cable to touch metallic objects
when routing it. If it touches metallic objects, they
may become damaged and fire or electric
shocks may result.
Keep the cable away from places that generate
heat when routing. If the cable touches hot parts
of the vehicle, the insulation may melt and cause
short-circuits, which could result in fire or electric
shocks.
Consult with your retailer or professional installer
to have the Rear Camera relocated.
This Rear Camera is designed for the vehicle
application only.
The purpose of this Rear Camera is to enable
the driver to check behind the vehicle at times
such as when reversing the vehicle or parking it.
It should not be used for any other purpose.
Always be sure to check that the surrounding
area is safe when reversing the vehicle.

vehicle's moving parts to avoid short circuits
which could result in fire, electric shocks or other
accidents.
ints to note after installing the Rear Camera
- Rear Camera Usage -
Do not place too much reliance on the Rear Camera.
The Rear Camera is meant to be used as a supplementary aid when backing up.
The effectiveness of the Rear Camera may be reduced if the lens is obscured. Example: rain or dust.
The relative position of the images displayed on the screen will vary depending on the vehicle conditions
(such as number of passengers and laden weight). Carefully check that it is safe behind and around the
vehicle before backing up.
Never back up while watching the Rear Camera only. Use the rear view and door mirrors and look over your
shoulder.
The characteristics of the Rear Camera lens will make all obstructions on the screen appear differently from
their actual positions and distances.
- Handling-
Do not apply strong shocks or knock the Rear Camera against other objects as this may cause problems
with operation or damage may occur.
If this is not observed, it may damage the Rear Camera or cause problems with operation.
Do not use in direct sunlight for long periods of time as burn-in image may occur.
When the Rear Camera is first turned on, the display may be momentary white but it will soon normalize.
If the Rear Camera is used for extended periods of time, the increase in temperature may cause white
marks or horizontal lines to appear. This is a characteristic of the CCD and is normal.
Flickering may occur in the images if the Rear Camera is used underneath fluorescent light in 50 Hz power
supply areas. This is normal and is not the sign of a malfunction.
Do not clean the Rear Camera, the bracket, or the cable with volatile chemicals such as alcohol, kerosene,
thinner or gasoline. Using such chemicals may cause warping, discoloration or other damage.
Do not use cleaning substances that contain abrasive powders. Using such substances will damage the
Rear Camera.
If the lens area becomes dirty, wipe it gently with a soft cloth moistened with water. If the lens is rubbed
firmly with a dry cloth, it may scratch the lens.
Do not damage the Rear Camera cable. Water vapor or water may get inside the Rear Camera through the
damaged section and cause problems with operation, fire, or electric shocks.
When washing the vehicle, avoid applying water directly to the Rear Camera or using high pressured water.
Periodically inspect the Rear Camera and the bracket to see if they are securely installed. Check that the
Rear Camera mounting screws are not loose and that the mounting bracket is securely applied to the
vehicle's surface. If the mounting screws are loose, they should be tightened. If this is not done, the Rear
Camera may come off and fall down, or pedestrians may touch it resulting in problems with operation.
If sunlight or other light sources directly hit Rear Camera (such as light reflected from the bumper or
headlights), it may cause vertical lines (smearing) to appear at the top and bottom of the light source. This is
normal and is not the sign of a problem.

while driving, otherwise traffic accidents may result.
