Duties:
- Mow various parts of the course, including fairways and greens, which required much
precision, focus and care
- Keep bunkers and water hazards free of debris and exceptionally presentable; constant
and consistent attention was needed
- Weed-eat around buildings, houses, trees and various other obstructions; delicacy was
very important
- Irrigation work including carefully digging up and replacing sprinklers to ensure they
were working adequately to get enough water to certain parts of the course
- Clean pool
- Occasionally cut down trees and disposed of them properly with chainsaws and other
heavy machinery
- Use toxic chemicals to spray and kill weeds throughout the course
