Membership Discounts for a Summer of Science, Art and
Animals

May 29, 2014 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. To encourage education and culture in the
Jacksonville community, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, the Cummer Museum of Art and
Gardens, Museum of Contemporary Art, and Museum of Science & History have teamed up to
offer a 10 percent membership discount incentive during the summer.

We are so proud to be a part of this initiative that brings together Jacksonvilles cultural
organizations to support one another and enrich the lives of the community we serve, said
Wendy Stanley, membership & volunteer manager at The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens.

To benefit from this offer, a valid Zoo, MOSH, MOCA or Cummer Museum membership must
be presented at the participating locations. Members of any of these four cultural establishments
are eligible for 10 percent off a membership at the other locations. All purchases must be made
in person with photo identification. This offer is valid June 1 through August 17.

About Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
For nearly a century, the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens has been dedicated to inspiring the
discovery and appreciation of wildlife through innovative experiences in a caring environment.
Starting in 1914 with an animal collection that consisted of one red deer fawn, the Jacksonville
Zoo and Gardens now has more than 2,000 rare and exotic animals and 1,000 plants. It has won

About the Museum of Science & History
The Museum of Science & History (MOSH) is located at 1025 Museum Circle near Friendship
Park. MOSH, first chartered in 1941, inspires the joy of lifelong learning by bringing to life the
sciences and regional history. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday Thursday; 10 a.m.
to 8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 for
adults; $8 for students, active and retired military and seniors; and $6 for children ages 3 through
12. There is no admission fee for children 2 and under or museum members. Admission is $5 on
