1. Flange is tapped and threaded for the 3/4 inch compression tting. All
ANSI anges are raised face phonographic serrated, all DIN anges are
Form C.
2. Material matches selection in Block 2. Metal ferrule permanently locks
after tightening compression tting.
3. Maximum length is 60 inches [1524 mm].
4. Enclosure required for agency approvals.

5. Overall shielded conductors required and wire resistance must
be less than 8 Ohms.
6. Turndown ratio is 10:1 minimum and 100:1 maximum.
7. FCI Standard Conditions are 14.7 psia [1,01 bar(a)] and 70 F [21,1 C].
8. Customer specied calibration must not exceed temperature
and pressure limitations of the ST98 product specications.
9. Transmitter setup, changes to factory supplied standard
settings, verication or modication to calibration parameters
or diagnostics requires external source communication with
the transmitter. Via RS232 port use Model FC88 communicator
or PC with PC interface kit or via HART bus (if selected) or
when PROFIBUS is selected, then must be performed via
PROFIBUS link.
10. Calibration codes must be selected using FCIs proprietary
AVAL application evaluation software.
12. Remote electronics is required.
13. The minimum ange size is 1-1/2 inches or DN40.
14. Isolated output and selectable passive or active output is a
standard feature with HART protocol. Flow range with HART
protocol must be 0 based.
15. T4 rated at 104 F [40 C].
16. Teon packing material must be ordered when the process
media is Ozone, Chlorine or Bromine (consult factory).
17. FP / FPC style sensors require 0.88 inch diameter minimum
clearance hole through process connection.
18. S style sensor requires 0.81 inch diameter minimum
clearance hole through process connection.
