What was the last ethical dilemma you faced and how did you overcome it? (max.

During the 4
th
semester of my graduation, one of my friends tried to cheat in the exam as he
had to get excellent grades in order to qualify for a financial aid for his further studies.
Unfortunately, the invigilator got the hint of it and asked me if I could identify the person.
So, being in a very uncomfortable position, I had to take a very balanced view of the
situation by understanding the gravity of my decision and ultimately I decided to save my
friend or it would have been a very dire situation for him in the long run.

Statement of purpose (max. 200 words)

Shallow men believe in luck. Strong men believe in cause and effect

This is a quote which I have lived by for the most part of my life and it has always motivated
me to aim for excellence in everything I do by means of hard work and dedicated efforts and
develop an attitude to not leave anything on chance but to strive to achieve my goals.

I wish to be a part of the Placement Committee of MDI as I believe it plays a very vital role
of acting as a conduit for organizations and industry leaders to interact with the students
through various live projects and activities. Being a fresher, this kind of industry exposure
would be a huge value addition to my skill set and a beneficial learning experience for me.

Further, I believe I could prove to be an asset to MDI by being associated with this
committee because I have held similar position of responsibility during my graduation as the
head of the Presentation Committee for the Training and Placement Cell of my college.
Being a workaholic and a focused individual, I will be able to dedicate myself to the needs
of this committee.
