FARNON BOND HEARING

SOT: President Obama - "I talked to Mier, who is a consulting engineer; his wife works
for his business. The couple do not qualify for subsidies. He's in his 60s. She's in her
late 50s. He has a pre-existing condition, and she has diabetes. One insurer turned
down his wife. I asked him whether he thought his claims experience, because of the
family's medical history, explained the couple's high premiums. Mier answered,
"Probably, no doubt."

VO: MEET JOHN MIER THE MAN PRESIDENT OBAMA IS REFERRING TO. MIER
WROTE A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT ABOUT THE AFFORABLE HEALTH CARE
ACT AND THE PRESIDENT USED THE LETTER IN HIS SPEECH ON MONDAY.

SOT: John Mier - "Well, I was glad that he could use it. I didn't think that he could use it
the way he did. I thought he was going to say, well there is a person in the East that I

HENDERSON FEDERAL CASE

VO: SINCE HIS ARREST IN JUNE - THE CHARGES AGAINST SCHOOL TEACHER
DENNIS HENDERSON WERE UNOFFICALLY WITHDRAWN AND HE HAS FILED A
FEDERAL LAWSUIT.

SOT: Sara Rose - "What happened to Mr. Henderson is a symbol of what we see as a
deeper problem of racial profiling and police harassment. Simply being a black man
and in a black neighborhood does not give police a probable cause to stop you."

ACADEMY AND THE INCIDENT HAPPENED YESTERDAY AFTER SHE EXITED THE
SCHOOL BUS - RIGHT HERE ON MAIN AND MAPLE STREETS.

SOT: Shamiyah Scott - "My face on the side is fractured up here and I have really bad

VO: EVERY DAY - FOR 30 DAYS KURTZ SWAM TWO-POINT-FOUR MILES - BIKED
