Recent ETA2U Outstanding Facts
In March 2011 ETA2U finishes the installation of IBM Blue Gene Supercomputer
at Universitatea de Vest Timisoara.
This is the only supercomputer of this size in Romania and one of the 3 existing in
Central and Eastern Europe. The computing Power of 13.9 Terra Flops is given by 1024
Processors with 4096 Cores and 4 TB of RAM connected in 32 I/O Nodes.
IBM Blue Gene will enable research in partnerships in areas such as complex
simulations in chemistry, physics, biology, biotechnology, research on sustainable
energy and various hazard assessment studies

In October 2012 ETA2U is selected for the 7
th
time consecutively as supplier for
Biblionet Program driven by Bill and Melinda Gates foundation
ETA2U is the partner in supplying IT equipment's by providing, configuring and
installing these equipment's in libraries that have applied for the Biblionet program.
Until this day, we have supplied and installed in over 900 libraries from all over
Romania, a total of over 40.000 equipment's, from which over 5.000 were HUSKTech
computers (ETA2Us registered trademark), as well as laptops, printers, scanners,
projectors and UPS's. Most libraries are situated in rural localities.

The satisfaction of our partner IREX is obvious, as it is confirmed by our sixth project
together, still in progress. The total value of the six projects is of over 4 million US
dollars. In this stage, we are installing 23.000 equipment's in over 500 libraries.

Our online helpdesk service 1click2u has proven to be an element of success and a
supporter of our added value to the customer. Through this service, ETA2U is
administrating remotely all software updates with minimum efforts and without
causing any disruptions to the libraries activity.

ETA2U Computer is the system integration business unit focused
on direct sales of HW and SW to Enterprise or Small & Medium
companies.

The sales process involves customer support and assistance into
defining the architecture, sizing and requirements for HW,
specifications for system integration and choice of technical
solutions and platforms, in order to minimize cost and
deployment effort and ensure sound implementation and
customer satisfaction.

This Business Unit is also providing project management support
for complex project deployment and is supervising the activity of
the other BUs for successful, on-time delivery to the customer.

ETA2U Training Center has a demo facility with IT equipment that replicates the

trainings based on end-user needs
