Easter is but one week
away and it really feels
like it has come around
fast. As usual we are
offering our normal
range of services to help you journey
through the Easter period from the
tension filled and sad time of Maunday
Thursday through to the joy of Easter
Sunday. Once again can I encourage
you to make use of these services to
help you make Easter the meaningful
and significant occasion it is.
JERUSALEM & MID. EAST APPEAL
Enclosed is an envelope for the Lent
Good Friday appeal for the work in this
area through the Anglican Missions
Board. This may be placed in the plate
during Holy Week, Easter Services. If
you put your envelope number on
these appeal envelopes it will be
recorded against your giving.
AGM AND NOMINATIONS
The AGM will be on the 19th of April
immediately after the 10:30am service
at Cobden. We will have a quick cuppa
and then reconvene for our
discussions. Those presenting reports

A key item of business at the meeting
this year will be looking at what we do
with the vicarage for the future. One
possibility is a community hub.
ELECTORAL ROLL
In order to be able to vote at the AGM
or stand for office you must be on the
electoral roll. A copy is at the back of
each church. If you are not on it
already but would like to be and meet
the requirements then the forms are
sitting at the back of the church. Can I
encourage everyone to think seriously
about signing this form. It says
something about your commitment to
this church as your spiritual home.
