My Career goal:
I would like to advance from a sales position to office manager and perhaps runand operate my
own successful real estate office and oversee a number of agents.
My Current Status:
Currently enrolled and seeking my associates degree;
Have pursued my Paralegal Certificate to help me with positioning myself for anoffice
management position;
Have acquired my real estate brokers license for advancement;
Acquired certifications in specialty areas in the field of real estate;
I have basic knowledge of employee law;
Running the office with one other person and would like to have more of a
challenge;
Currently, I am limited on what I can do. Thinking outside the box or new ideas must be
approved by management and are seldom addressed;
My current training is just what is given by my supervisor at Monday morning
meetings with the sales team;
I find it necessary to pass a prospective client on to a sales person that speaks
Spanish;
My strengths
Very eager to lean;
Reliable, always on time and available;
Self-starter, with or without supervision;
Excellent time management;
Work is complete by deadline with accuracy;

To obtain my bachelors degree in Business by December 2016
To enroll in classes so I am well informed on current employee laws in 2013
Enroll in a Business Writing or English Composition course in 2013
Enroll in a Speech class to be confident when presenting material orallyand effectively in
2013
Own or be a partner in a successful real estate office by December 2017

Areas of development short term goals
I have purchased an online program to assist me in learning a second language;
Network and participate in at least two seminars in areas of interest in my current real
estate field and legal field in 2012 in progress;
Pick-up my speed in typing at about sixty (60) words a minute by end of 2012 in
progress;
Motivate others effectively;

Delegate responsibility effectively;
Deal with obstacles more effectively;
Speak to my supervisor and see if I can attend company management courses/seminars
along with current sales training;
Ask my mentor to coach me and possibly shadow them if possible;
Consider working in a very successful real estate office in-house togainperspective of all
office operation. Get a job doing this by June 2013.
Complete my associates degree with a high GPA by December 2014.
Career Plan Essay
Here I am, standing on the roadside to the future, enthusiastic and curious about
the world that is yet to be discovered, hoping to develop a strong foundation for the future years
in this field will allow me to help people in both physically and emotionally in significant ways,
and to have the balance I need to be able to spend time with my family. In essence, pharmacist is
my dream job. Patients health care decisions should not be limited to choosing their doctor or
pharmacy, but should be extended to deciding how that doctor and pharmacist works with them
to achieve their personal health goals. Starting with two main options, a pharmacist can start
their own business or work for someone else. However, there are many positives and negatives
to both sides. In order to see if I could cope with the requirements of such a tough job I took the
opportunity to become aware of all aspects of medicine. I know not the purpose of life, but I
know of passion, and mine lies in medicine. I recognized the extra challenges involved when
treating the elderly. Many decisions people make are without any knowledge or regard of the
health impact, I rarely felt satisfaction in the sense that a patients life changed during a single
office visit. My strong desire to pursue a career as a pharmacist originates from my interest in
how medicine are involved in the treatment of diseases. Pharmacist is a very rewarding job, but it
is hard work

Although this was this first time that being a pharmacist crossed my mind. I was sure I
was destined to become one, I have been able to experience uncertainties, challenges, and plain
old hard work I am most attracted by the active role of pharmacist. My recent clinical
experiences have affirmed my career choice of internal medicine for the same reasons.
My work as a volunteer has taught me to understand the residents' conditions and feelings
and to interact with them in a way that gives them hope. My experiences have made me certain
that my place in this world is as a pharmacist. I am satisfied with the direction I am heading and
excited to get started with pursuing my medical training that will provide me with every
opportunity to fulfill my dreams. I look forward with great anticipation to a career in medicine,
and its oath to lifelong education and personal growth. Along the way I have gain skills and
experiences that will make me a good doctor to every patient whether I can heal them physically
or not.
