Desc r i pt i on:
The Tank and Vessel Engineer is responsible for design and analysis of aboveground storage tanks, specialty tanks, foundations, floating roofs, and
various appurtenances. New programs and procedures may need to be developed in the process of supporting these efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performdesign and analysis on Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST), Pressure Vessels and floating roofs.
Develop new automated design programs using Mathcad.
Produce design concept sketches using AutoCAD.
Use of structural analysis and design software such as ANSYS and STAAD
Travel to jobsites to address technical needs in the field.
Performfitness for service analysis.
Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Companys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Actively support the Companys commitment to safety and its Core Values.
Performother related duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Coursework in strength of materials, solid mechanics, machine and mechanisms design or structural design in concrete and steel.
Familiarity with design and construction codes such as ASME, API, ASHRAE or ACI is required.
Proficiency with numerical methods.
Must have strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Mathcad and various structural analysis (ANSYS,
STAAD) or vessel design software (COMPRESS) is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

PHYSICAL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional travel is required to visit customers, attend technical meetings or visit job sites.
Overtime may be required
