We are very proud of our municipality Tapalpa and hope that you will visit us soon. This brochure
will tell you about some of the attractions, places to visit, and improvements that we have made.
Our favorite place to visit.

Tapalpa, Jalisco has over 40,000 within which you can find several
species of animals and can be seen as a large recreational park
practice suitable for different activities. In extreme sports Tapalpa
have great relevance as major competitions are held annually glider
(paragliding, hang gliding, ultralight).

Currently, Tapalpa has also become home to one of the main stops
of the Paragliding World Cup (PWC) or Paragliding World Cup,
that commenced in 2002. Since then, Tapalpa has participated in
international tournaments this activity, being home to some of the
stages, along with Mount Clip (Italy), abtenau (Austria), Talloires (France) and Kayseri (Turkey).

Tourists can enjoy short trips, on foot or horseback, or on the river canoeing and fishing, where you can find
the much sought after steelhead, and Walnut Dam, with plenty of tilapia, carp Israel and the bass.

In Tapalpa can enjoy the mountains and rappelling, mountain biking, climbing, hang gliding and paragliding,
as many other sports such as rowing or just swimming.

Tapalpa's reputation as sports practice area has also been enriched with the completion of the Guadalajara-
Tapalpa Race, organized by the Association Areneros Jalisco.

Tapalpa is magicaland it is waiting for you.
If have visited before, you will be happy to know that we have made some important
changes

In tapalpa we had the problem of cutting down trees and also
fires forest.
This used to be a pretty big problem.
With in order to improve this was implemented a program
which prohibits the felling of trees or the bonfires in the
forests as this causes too much damage.
And who not comply with this will be sanctioned either with
a fine or with the jail.
