Getting Started
Patching the Japanese Game
1. Create an ISO image
Guide to ripping a physical UMD disc to ISO: http://www.guidingtech.com/13895/extract-psp-umd-game-iso/
*Note that you technically only need to dump one UMD (be it disc 1 or disc 2), but since UMDs are valuable, you should backup
both and keep them somewhere safe. Untouched backups may be handy for applying newer patches (if any).
2. Download the required files
Extract downloaded archives. You only need to open the part01 RAR file and extract from there. The
multiple parts will be combined automatically.
Windows XP and 2003 users will also need the Windows XP-compatible (unofficial) patcher because the
one bundled with the patch doesnt work on these systems. Download it from leechermans page (137 KB,
use normal version if you have your ISO already).
3
3a. Patch the ISO with Windows 7 and up
1. Open the Final Fantasy Type-0 Patcher.exe.
2. Click on Patch
3. Select your ISO file (It will be called UMD9660.ISO if you didnt rename it after dumping. You can also
use any ISOs extracted from PSN version. Moreover, the merged ISO is okay too).
If using an unmerged ISO file, just apply the patch to the ISO file from Disc 1 only. The ISO from Disc 2 isnt
necessary because the patcher contains files from both discs.
4. The patcher will then ask you to type a name and choose a directory to save the patched file. Saving
over the original ISO file is not necessary. The resulting patched ISO file will be 2.65 GB (2 855 579 648
bytes).
5. (optional) Verify the patched ISO by comparing its CRC32 checksum with the correct one: 229A311A
See the How can I know if my ISO files are not damaged? question in FAQs for details.
Here is a video tutorial: http://youtu.be/W-9dQdp88V8
3b. Patch the ISO with Windows XP
1. Open LMANs Final Fantasy Type-0 EN Patcher.exe or its NoUMD version.
2. Click Open or drag and drop your ISO onto the field for UMD file, if available.
3. Click Open or drag and drop FFT0.patch extracted from multipart RAR archive onto the field for the
patch.
4. Click Save and type the name for the patched ISO or accept the default fftype0-en-patched.iso.
5. Click Start and wait for the patching to complete. If everything goes as expected, you should get
merged and patched ISO file which will take 2.65 GB (2 855 579 648 bytes).
6. (optional) Verify the patched ISO by comparing its CRC32 checksum with the correct one: 229A311A
If youre going to use this ISO on PSP, copy it to the device before doing the verification.
See the How can I know if my ISO files are not damaged? question in FAQs for tools and more details.
3c. Patch the ISO with Mac OSX
Option 1: Try using leechermans Final Fantasy Type-0 EN Patcher.
4
Option 2: You can run Windows 7 on your Mac.

Configuring your device
PSP Instructions
1. Please ensure that you have the suitable custom firmware (CFW) installed.
Go to Settings > System Settings > System Information in XMB and check System Software. If it
reads just Version 6.60 or similar without any suffixes, you either dont have CFW installed or you didnt
start it.
- 6.60 PRO-C Fix3 works perfectly on all PSP models. (Download It Includes how to Install/
Upgrade)- 6.60 PRO-C2 works fine but it has some issues which dont affect this patched game (like
loading PSone Classics bought from PSN); use the latest PRO Nightly build instead if these concern
you.
- 6.60 PRO-B10 may work but there are reports of problems with cutscenes on the PSP-1000.
- 5.00 M33-6 may work by setting UMD ISO MODE to "Sony NP9660, but there are reports of
problems with cutscenes on the PSP-1000.
- Latest ME releases now have Inferno driver too and play cutscenes just fine.
2. If you dont have the suitable CFW, follow PSP Custom Firmware for Dummies guide to install it.
Note that PRO and ME firmwares can coexist on the same PSP without any conflicts whatsoever as
long as both share base OFW version (for example, you can have both CFWs on 6.20 or 6.60, but you cant
simultaneously have one CFW on 6.20 and another on 6.60 on the same device).
Owners of fully hackable PSPs (that is, early PSP-2000s and all PSP-1000s) should be extra careful
to not mismatch CIPLs if installing PRO on top of ME (but not LME) to avoid bricking. Follow tutorials to the
letter (DO NOT restart or shutdown PSP until new CIPL is flashed immediately after installing PRO files to
flash0) and have a full NAND backup with working Pandora ready just in case. Other PSPs (manufactured
in late 2008 and newer) cannot have custom IPLs to begin with, so its a non-issue for these models.
3. Configure the CFW to use Inferno driver.
1. Press [select] while in XMB (your PSPs main menu) to bring up the VSH menu.
2. Scroll down to UMD ISO MODE, cycle left or right until you see Inferno.
3. Press [select] or choose EXIT to save changes and go back to XMB.
4. You can start the game now, there is no need to reboot or shutdown the PSP.
Inferno will be used by default from now on until you select another driver manually in VSH or recovery
menu.
This is necessary because patched ISO will take 2.65GB, which exceeds maximum disc capacity of real
UMDs, and the PSP cannot play oversized ISO files using other NoUMD drivers, such as NP9660, M33 etc.
PS Vita Instructions
1. Make sure you have firmware version 3.10 or older, the following wont work if you have newer firmware.
2. Watch this video to setup your PS Vita: http://youtu.be/Ptvxf9Bv7Uc3. Transfer the game through the
exploited game save file or use FTP and place the game in the ISO folder. Just like PSP however, you'll
need the Inferno driver for it to work. This is included in Total_Noob's TN-V8 and newer eCFWs so make
sure you're up to date with that. Method of activation is the same as PSP, so read PSP Instructions above.
6
If you have a PS Vita that's up to date with the latest official firmware, don't bother asking how to play the
game on it right now. The opportunities to install eCFW are rare as Sony will quickly pull the game with the
kernel exploit from the PSN store and release a new "stability" FW update soon after. If you really want it
in the future, subscribe to the GAF Vita Homebrew thread or pay attention to wololo.net where the name of
the game with a kernel exploit is occasionally released.

Legit (No Cheats) Quickstart
People looking to play without cheating should play the game as per normal through to the first save point
to follow the storyline and tutorial (about 25 minutes in if you take your time and watch all the opening
movies). Don't bother making a save during this initial run, it will not be used anyway.
Then grab the Zeroshiki Demo2 from Square Enix website - play through the demo to the first save point -
save there (skipping the movie scenes and playing your best, as this will ultimately be your main file). Now
you can immediately load your demo save into the main, translated game so you can continue with all of
the costumes and Growth accessory you just unlocked.
Demo2 is loaded into Type-0 as if it were a standard save file and does not need any manual importing, but
it comes with the minor annoyance of Level up! message displaying the characters name in Japanese
rather than in English on the side of the screen.
Follow instructions on Siliconera webpage to download the demo if you cant read Japanese: http://

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Where can I buy FF Type-0 online?
Amazon / Amazon (Ultimate Hits)
AmiAmi / AmiAmi (Ultimate Hits)
PlayAsia / PlayAsia (Ultimate Hits)
Play Import / Play Import (Ultimate Hits)
YesAsia / YesAsia (Ultimate Hits)
Q. What is different in the Ultimate Hits version?
A. The Ultimate Hits version has the exact same contents as the original version. The only difference is the
discounted price.
Q. Why is it so much bigger than the normal ISO?
A. Two discs worth of video crammed into a single ISO.
Q. Can I patch a merged ISO?
A. The provided patcher can patch merged and unmerged ISO files alike. If using unmerged ISO files, just
apply the patch to the ISO file from Disc 1. XP-compatible patcher is unable to patch the merged ISO at the
moment.
Q. Can I just buy the game off PSN and patch that instead?
A. We currently have 2 possible options to extract ISO out of PSN game.
1. If you already have a PSN version on your PSP:
1. Download Neurons UMD dump Simple (the best) plugin: Neur0n's PSP Stuff by MOZ
2. Unzip the archive and copy umd_dump_simple.prx into your plugin folder ( ms0:/SEPLUGINS/), then
enable the plugin by adding this line to GAME.TXT: ms0:/seplugins/umd_dump_simple.prx 1 (without
quotes).
3. Run the game and then press the note key at the games title screen while a USB cable is connected
to your PC and the PSP. PSP will show up as a removable drive in Windows with only one file called
UMD9660.ISO on it. Copy this ISO file to your computer then unmount the drive pressing the note key
again.
2. If you havent downloaded it yet:
1. Log into your account at https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com
2. Click on the Media tab and you will see a list of your purchases.
3. Click the Download button next to the item you would like to get the link to, and a dialog box will pop up.
You can either choose to "Open with" or "Save File."
4. Either way you choose, open the .XPD file in Notepad and find the section that begins with "C=http." That
is your link to the .PKG file.
5. Download this tool: https://sites.google.com/site/theleecherman/psnpkgdecryptor-extractor
9
Once that is done you have ISO to patch.
Q. Can this be played on PS Vita?
A. Yes if you have eCFW installed, no otherwise.
1. Make sure you have under 3.10 firmware, if you have a newer firmware, this wont work.
2. Watch this video to setup your PS Vita: http://youtu.be/Ptvxf9Bv7Uc
3. Transfer the game through the exploited game save file or use FTP and place the game in the
ISO folder. Just like the PSP however, you'll need the Inferno driver for it to work. This is included in
Total_Noob's TN-V8 eCFW so make sure you're up to date with that. Method of activation is the same as
PSP.
If you have a Vita that's up to date with the latest official firmware, don't bother asking how to play the game
on it right now. The opportunities to install eCFW are rare as Sony will quickly pull the exploitable game
from the PSN store and release a new "stability" FW update soon after. If you really want it in the future,
subscribe to the GAF Vita Homebrew thread or pay attention to wololo.net where the name of the game
with a kernel exploit is occasionally released.
Q. Shouldnt ____ be translated as ____?
A. This isnt a direct or literal translation, it is a localization. We spent a lot of time agreeing on the best
fit and in some cases, better names for things. Feel free to add suggestions here: Suggestions for re
translations
Q. Where can I post text and grammar errors?
A. Feel free to add to the list of errors or other issues you find here: Final Fantasy Type-0 English Patch
Errors
Q. The radio COMM message timing is slow. First noted before fighting last boss in
Togoreth Fortress.
A. Due to the games setting that renders the message speed in relation to the number of characters. You
might have guessed that English vs Japanese has a significant difference. Sky tried to fix this but no luck.
Q. How can I know if my ISO files are not damaged?
A. Calculate the CRC32 checksum of your ISO and make sure it matches correct ones.
If you need an utility for this, try HashCheck or HashTab shell extensions, any hex editor or whatever else
Google comes up with.
If your ISO has different size or checksum than listed below, its a bad and/or modified dump. Redump your
UMD to get a clean ISO or redownload PSN version. Also, some (really) old CFWs are known to create
incomplete dumps (so called underdumps), updating your CFW may help if checksums still dont match.
CRC32 of an original untouched ISOs are:
Disc 1
UMD CRC: 025D4D96
PSN CRC: 701B6B87
UMD and PSN ISO size: 1.67 GB (1 797 029 888 bytes)
Disc 2
10
UMD CRC: 7BFF2BCF
PSN CRC: 4285E823
UMD and PSN ISO size: 1.61 GB (1 732 083 712 bytes)
Final, merged and patched ISO: 229A311A
File size: 2.65 GB (2 855 579 648 bytes)
Merged but not patched ISOs have different checksums (depending on time zone, file order etc.), but ISO
size should be around 2.39 GB (2 575 806 464 bytes)
All cutscenes are watchable on both PPSSPP and PSP. If you are unable to watch them, the problem could
be due to an inferior PC graphics card, CFW problems, an interfering plugin on the PSP or other possible
factors.
The Caravan release > merged ISO does not seem to be generating issues on PSP-1000 so far.
Q. Why does my game start out with 25 hours of gameplay when Ive never played
this game on my PSP before?
A. Does it display 00:25:00? Thats 25 minutes, not 25 hours. It takes somewhere in the realm of 20 to
30 minutes to reach the first save point if you do not skip any of the opening movies. If it does actually say
25:00:00 at the start, please post your PSP model and CFW version.
Q. Can I play it on a PS3 without a Cobra dongle?
A. http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=73932 (in progress, go there and assist please)
Q. If you dont need Disc 2 (just need Disc 1 and this patch), then what about the
content that is on Disc 2? The game is on two discs so how does this work exactly?
A. The patcher adds missing videos from the other disc to make the output file a merged ISO. And, in the
originals, Disc 1 is used for prologue, switched to Disc 2 for a while, then switched back again to disc 1
again to complete the game. There are several identical files for both.
Q. I would prefer to not merge the ISO files because my memory card only has 2GB.
A. Sorry, there is no way to avoid the merging from the patch. Get yourself a Memory Stick with higher
capacity or try your luck with microSD to MS adapters (that is, clones of out-of-production PhotoFast CR-
5400).
Q. Is the player data summary supposed to last for only half a second? Because I
never have enough time to see what they say.
A. That screen was useful because when running the game from UMD without data install, load times could
be very long. Now, since you're running the entire game from the memory stick or your hard drive through
an emulator, the load times are fractions of a second. We translated those screens, but you're right, they're
not really useful anymore.
Q. Can I patch this game on Mac OS X?
A1. Try using leechermans Final Fantasy Type-0 EN Patcher.
11
A2. You can run Windows 7 on your Mac.
Try the free trial: http://youtu.be/-bysikWgkm4
DL site: http://goo.gl/z4TJSC

Q. Is 6.20 PRO-C Fix3 compatible with FF Type-0? (redundant/not answered)
A. Upgrading to 6.60 PRO-C2/C Fix 3 is still recommended so that you do not encounter any problems
during your playthrough. Link to the CFW installation guide is provided above.
A. Yes so far it has worked better then others have reported. amendment this is what I use for 6.20
http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=34403
Q. Is it possible to play this on PPSSPP on OS X?
A. You might want to ask the author of this thread.
http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=2510
Q. Can I use the memory stick speedup hack from recovery menu on PSP ?
A. NO. Game will randomly hangout on loading screens. Its unsafe even on fast memory cards.
Q. Can I convert ISO to CSO image? (also #15 in Troubleshooting section)
A. Use leechermans CISO Multi Compressor, it supports non-standard disc sizes. Other CSO tools will
either fail (UMDGen) or simply refuse to compress the 2+GB ISO (CISO via YACC).
Using maximum compression will yield a 2.15GB CSO for patched game and 1.89GB CSO for merged but
unpatched (i.e. still in Japanese) game, as opposed to 2.65GB and 2.39GB ISOs, respectively.
Q. Can I____?
A. Probably. Try it and report back here.

Troubleshooting
1. Cant access Crimson Codex from the Crystarium in-game.
- Please disable any plugins or cheats you can live without and try running the game again.
- Blank codex, 0/0 characters is fixed by exiting and restarting the game from XMB.
- Blank Codex is reported to be solved as well by deleting system data, play the game and make a
new system data.
- During beta, there is a known problem if savestates are used before accessing it. Restarting from
save point usually solves it.
- Otherwise, under investigation.
- perhaps the Crimson Codex is working fine, I played from start up to save the game after going
to the cemetery for the first time, without ever opening the Crimson Codex during the game or in
the main menu. After, I normally loaded my save to get ahead in the game, and came out before
continuing the notification of entries added and the Crimson Codex, now, continues works well both
in-game and in the main menu, without problems ... I have a psp1004 6.60 pro-c2 ... I hope it is of
help to all.
2. Classroom lectures subtitles are weird.
- Its intentional. The conversation audio versus the subtitle is totally different.
3. MSVCP120.dll error with PPSSPP.
- Get the dll from microsoft site: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
- If you are using PPSSPP for Windows 32bit, get vcredist_x86.exe.
- If you are using it for Windows 64 bit, get vcredist_x64.exe.
4. The cutscenes are not working although theres audio and I have the option to
skip it.
- For PPSSPP, please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from http://
buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/. This is different than the latest stable build that is featured on the front
page.
- For PSP-1000, please ensure that you have the latest CFW installed, 6.60 PRO-C2/PRO-C Fix3.
Next, configure the Inferno driver on it. Lastly, disable any plugins or cheats that might be interfering
with performance.
5. Certain lag spike during gameplay for PPSSPP. Especially noted with the
unkillable boss scene during tutorial.
- As far as I know, the PPSSPP team is working on it. Otherwise, the settings e.g. upscaling,
rendering, etc. can be tweaked.
- Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from http://
buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ This is different from stable build that is featured on the front page.
- As for PSP, there are claims that slow or fragmented memory stick may be the cause.
13
6. Game areas where you can see nothing but the HUD on PPSSPP.
- Use the latest PPSSPP version from http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/, not the stable build.
- Set Rendering Mode to Buffered Rendering.
7. Crash during chapter 5 mission at the sunken/abandoned ship.
- Use the latest PPSSPP version from http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/, not the stable build.
- This was encountered once during beta testing using earlier working PPSSPP build but sorted out
with the newer ones. PSP has no crashes for this section.
8. Game time shift from x day 2 hours to x day 12 hours.
- Its part of the game. Moglin explains it to you during the tutorial.
Pay attention during lectures!
9. The game sometimes becomes tinted-red during gameplay using PPSSPP.
- Known bug. Restarting the emulator helps.
10. D-pad is super sensitive. I tried it with other games but those are fine.
- Please disable any unnecessary plugins such as Joysens and try running the game again.
11. I got notices that new info was added to the Crimson Codex, but what I got was
blank, nothing was added.
- Be sure to scroll down. New entries arent at the top in the beginning of the game.
- If there still arent any, exit and restart the game from XMB.
12. I downloaded the patcher but when its done the zip file is always corrupted and I
cant repair it.
- The patcher doesnt work well on Windows XP. It wont even start.
- Try using leechermans Final Fantasy Type-0 EN Patcher.
- Try using 7zip, FreeARC or WinRAR 5.0 to test the archive before unpacking it. Older versions of
WinRAR could give you an error when trying to verify or extract.
- Find a friend that has Windows 7 and extract it on his computer.
- Otherwise, its still under investigation.

13. Certain letters are slightly overlapped especially A.
- This has been tweaked many times by the team and we found the current condition to be the most
acceptable.
14. Everytime I start the game, my PSP shuts down.
- You need to configure your CFW to use Inferno driver or install CFW that has it if yours doesnt.
See Configuring your device for details.
15. The patched ISO file cannot be converted into a CSO file. PSP ISO
14
Compressor tosses out an error in the cmd line and UMDGen just creates a
zero-size file. (also in FAQ section, remove because dupe?)
-This is because those tools do not support ISO files that are over 2GB in size.
-Try using leechermans CISO Multi Compressor. It supports file sizes over 2GB.
16. Windows 8/8.1 prevents PPSSPP from starting.
- Encountered during beta testing. Try enabling Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for this program.
- Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced system setting > Advance tab >
Performance settings > DEP tab > Add PPSSPP to the list.
17. On PPSSPP, there are a few instances where the FPS just drops to 1-3 and I was
only able to barely slip past those moments. The Arena has the same problem
making it unplayable.
- Refer to problem #5 above. The Arena is notably wacky thanks to the fog effect its trying to render,
but the earlier working build has its lag/spike effect for a few seconds. It also depends on your
hardware.
- Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from http://
buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ This is different than the lastest stable build that is featured on the front
page.
18. When I try to download, it keeps freezing or the bar does not move.
-Use F5 to refresh the page.
19. When playing on PSP, the game sometimes crashes when it needs to load or
presents some sort of issues if I use plugins while playing
- Please disable any unnecessary plugins or cheats and try running the game again.
20. Shadows are rendered as skeletons or white blobs on PPSSPP.
-This is an issue with older PPSSPP versions.
-Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from http://
buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ This is different than the lastest stable build that is featured on the front
page. http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/
-Next, ensure that your Rendering Mode is set to Buffered Rendering.
21. The save/load dialog menu is still in Japanese.
- This is probably due to the PSP system recognizing that the ISO is a Japanese game. It would be
difficult to change since it has very little to do with the English patch.
22. When I select Return to Title under the Info tab the game crashes. This is with
the PSP-1000, proper CFW and Inferno driver.
- The Crimson Codex has been tough for our editors/proofreaders during the translation/polishing
phase. They have tried their best to enhance the texts while keeping the memory load to a minimum
for the game itself to work properly.
15
- In any case, still under investigation and needs more info especially if its really restricted to the
1000 series. (32MB memory of Fat PSPs is NOT the cause because 64MB Slims are also affected).
- I noticed that this crash(in reality it is just a black screen) happens if during the game, the psp is
put on standby at least once ... I say this because I've had this black screen, and now without putting
the psp on standby, the "Return to Title" works .... I have a psp1004 6.60 pro-c2 ... I hope this helps
everyone.
23. A- character was in a constant voice loop when casting Wall during the first
playthrough of the tutorial. After turning it off, it hasnt occurred again. I was
using RemoteJoy at the time.
- Certain plugins or cheats may cause problems when running the game.
- Please disable any unnecessary plugins and try running the game again.
24. When I tried to use the patcher, it couldn't save the ISO file. Am I doing something
wrong?
- Its very likely. You need to type in a name for your soon to be patched version and hit Save.
25. I played the Demo up to the first save point to get the summer uniforms, now the
character names during level ups and such are scrambled, any way to fix that?
- Using a demo save may cause problems when playing the patched game. This is because a few
Japanese texts are stored within the save file so conflicts of identical data may occur.
26. I have unlocked the summer uniforms, how do I wear them?
- Access a save point and go to Equip. Besides the the names of the characters, there will be icons
indicating the uniforms they are wearing. Cycle through them with the L and R buttons.
- Otherwise, you can use the Unlock All Class Zero costumes cheat.
- Please read the Final Fantasy Type-0 Uniforms Hack Guide for more info.
27. How to enable 2X EXP cheats because it produces an error after using it?
-Use cheats that the game isnt checking for?
28. Cutscenes skip every second or so.
- The problem may be caused by a faulty and/or fragmented Memory Stick, or the use of a microSD
to MS adapter (ex.PhotoFast).
- Otherwise, try enabling\disabling Memory Stick Speedup feature in PRO Recovery Menu.
29. Most games work well when running PPSSPP on my laptop but a constant black
screen flickers whenever I try teleporting with Ace. I am using the latest PPSSPP
v0.9.8.
- Please make sure that you are not running Intel integrated graphics on your laptop.
- Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from http://
buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ This is different than the lastest stable build that is featured on the front
page.
16
- Next, ensure that your Rendering Mode is set to Buffered Rendering.
- Follow this guide on Maximizing the performance of PPSSPP on your Android/Windows device
- This happens sometimes when running fullscreen in interlaced display modes (like a TV running
1080i)
I believe it has to do with frame skipping being used to run with the refresh rate of 30hz. Playing in
window mode is the only way I have found to get around this without switching to a progressive
scan
resolution.
30. How long should the patch take?
- It doesnt take long at all. About a few minutes.
- If it is taking a long time, the patcher might be corrupted or the download might have failed. In
which case, you might have to redownload the corrupted part.
31. Nothing happens when I load the game. I changed the UMD ISO Mode to
Inferno but it just shuts down. I switched to M33 Driver and it works, but the
game just gets stuck in loading.
- Inferno Driver is required to run the patched game.
- You may have an outdated CFW installed on your PSP.
- 6.60 PRO-C Fix3 is recommended. Link to the installation guide is provided above.
32. Im using the latest dev build of PPSSPP but when I load the game, all I get on the
title screen is sound, the menu, start button and the map at the top right corner.
Everything else is totally black. If I use the latest stable build of PPSSPP, the
game works but I get the white shadow problem. Im using Windows 8, Intel Core
i5 and Intel Graphics HD 4000 with everything updated.
- Running any game with PPSSPP on Intel integrated graphics is just a bad idea in general.
33. I merged the 2 ISOs and got a 2.4GB ISO. I can play my saved file from Disc 1 and
Disc 2 without changing the ISO but the game is still in Japanese.
- You probably just used the old merging tool that doesnt contain the English patch. 2.4GB is the
size of the merged ISO without the patch.
- It is no longer necessary to merge the ISOs before running the patcher since the ISOs will be
merged during patching anyway.
- Please download the patch from the links provided above.
34. How do I play on Multiplayer?
- Refer to details under the Useful Hacks section.

- Using that chatroom as base, some users manage to join and play together in the room. So far,
coldbird and hamachi are tested working.
- But there are still some unknown variables that make the multiplayer not function properly.
- Theory at the moment: Ping/latency/distance between each other. Ports problem.
- Join in and help discover the variables.
- A preview using hamachi on PPSSPP: https://vimeo.com/98200789
- Gamefaqs players confirmed ps3 with adhoc works too.
36. Resuming the game after putting my PSP on standby will cause the game to stop
playing music.
- Thats just how the game is, even without the patch. Just move your character to another place with
a different background music and everything will return to normal.
37. Why cant I load some CWcheats into my game?
- The game has its own built-in anti-cheat system. It checks inventory and code prior to saving.
- Summer outfits arded at the very end of the inventory, you have to sort to make them appear at the
top.e ad
38. My ISO is 2.78 GB after the patch (not 2.65 GB as said before), will it still work?
- 2.65GB is about equal to 2,788,652KB. Please make sure that you have the correct file size.
39. Is there any way to get any patcher to work on windows 8? I have installed .net
2.0, tried xp compatability mode, still does not run. Just says program has
unexpectedly stopped working every time, I have no other OS to try, any fixes?
-Try the fix from #16 above
-Try running the program as an admin
-Try re downloading the patcher, your download could be corrupted.
-Try running a virtual version of Windows 7 on your Windows 8: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/
windows-8/hyper-v-run-virtual-machines
40. Using the recommended PPSSPP build, the game will hang up and crash
whenever saving when prompted after a mission, but works fine on PSP. There are no
issues with saving at relics.
41. Which plugins are not recommended to be enabled?
42. Regarding The same Question at number 31, i DL the 6.60 PRO-C Fix3 still it wont
work. mines this time crashes at Now Loading screen it hangs up but then boom
