Feb. - May 2015 : Senior Producer, NEO NETWORK. Supervising Producer for primetime shows
‘Naibaat’ and ‘Dou Shud’ and producer for ‘Heels on Ground’, ‘Hizb-e-Ikhtilaf’ and ‘Marasla’.

July 2012 - Feb. 2014: Content Producer, DUNYA TV. “Dunya@8with Malick”.

June 2011 - July 2012 : Researcher ARYNEWS. “Pakistan Tonight with Fahd Husain”.

July 2007 – Oct. 2008: Producer, GEO ENGLISH. “Diplomatic License”. Reporter, producer, and
editor for the 35-minute documentary “Students of Lal Masjid”. Travelled to Peshawar, Mardan,
Charsadda, and within Rawalpindi-Islamabad for on-location shoots, and did phone interviews with
families residing in Rahim Yar Khan, Attock, Jhang and Kashmir.

Dec. 2006 – May 2007: Associate Producer, DAWNNEWS. Reporter, producer, editor for the
“Who am I? – I am Pakistan” 3-minute inspirational stories series of ordinary Pakistanis who had
succeeded inspite of adversity, in places like Dir, Takht-Bahi, Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda,
Abbotabad, Manshera, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Okara, Khushab, Rajanpur,
Lahore, Silakot, Multan, Tharparkar, Mithi, Hyderabad, Karachi, Gwadar, Hub, Chaman and
Quetta. KPK fillers were produced first. Stories included an illiterate farmer who created a unique
schooling system in interior Sindh, three handicapped (via polio) brothers who work as tailors and
are rich and married and have healthy kids, a woman who built a career in the garbage disposal

"industry", a fisherman who became a local councillor, a blind boy who through his hard work and
his mother's perseverance earned scholarship to Harvard, an old herder with a unique method of
protecting forest, a former dancing (nautch) girl who rebuilt her life as a successful homemaker and
worker, a museum curator who followed his passion for archeology, a girl married off at 14 who
built a successful career as a social worker, etc.

Sept. – Dec. 2006: Producer, ARY ONE WORLD. Booked Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah
Badawi and produced the interview.

Sept. 2003- June 2005: Associate Producer / Producer, GEO TV. Program “Follow Up with Fahd”,
flagship English-language program. Booked and researched former UN weapons inspector Hans
Blix, former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, film star and UNHCR
representative Angelina Jolie, Commonwealth Sec. Gen. Don McKinnon, Pakistan’s Pres. Gen.
Pervez Musharraf, India’s former Prime Minister I.K. Gujral, India’s former Foreign Minister
Jaswant Singh etc.

Nov 2005-Jan 2006: DFID Report on State of Journalism in Pakistan, an extensive internal study
that involved traveling to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and speaking with newspaper owners, editors,
TV directors, bureau chiefs and owners of regional and national cable channels, famous print and
TV journalists and talk show personalities, press club officials of the four provinces, professors of
the departments of journalism from 14 universities in the four provinces and members of the
various broadcast and print and governmental associations. Researched and wrote the 350-page plus
English-language report.
