Greetings and Tansi Nehethowuk,
I am Lawrence Dysart my parents Sam and Lena
Dysart raised us in Nelson House and they grew
up in NCN with WWII Veteran and past Councilor
Lawrence Spence and Delia my grandparents. I
am a proud member of Nisichawayasihk Cree
Nation who has always wanted to make a
difference for our People of Nisichawayasihk.
Please take a moment to read and reply to my
agenda and interested areas of focus on how I
would like to work with the community to reach
goals in an innovative effective efficient way.
Nehethowuk. We have a strong voice and
together we will take action with dignity for the
prosperity of NCN. My agenda is to be a councilor
who will be accountable to people through
communication, I will work to listen and address
the issues at hand and new ideas for NCN. We
can address immediate issues with realistic
timelines. A plan that will sustain the prosperity of
future generations and strong enough to meet
current demands.

Elders Traditional knowledge will continue to be passed
on through the programs we create for the Youth. The
resources of our traditional lands of NCN will continue to
sustain our needs as we ensure the preservation and
impact we have on our environment.

The safety of our citizens will be a main priority of your
elected councilor Lawrence Dysart.
The Nehethowuk will always be an example of our
Nations to help others reach their fullest potential.

Education and Training
Our language and traditions will be a component of
curriculum and continued funding investments. The
history or our ancestors and nation today will be
preserved as our generations have.

Health and Wellness
As a growing nation the health services will be a vital
component on the demands of our community.


Strengthening and Protecting our

The effectiveness and efficiency of our resources in
our nation should be transparent to the people. A
plan that will unify the entities of NCNs financial
administration.

Infrastructure
The commitment of the 2014-2018 term of office will
continue to focus on the immediate housing and
infrastructure needs of our growing Nation.

A plan that will employ the people in building the
Nations sustainable prosperity.
