The WIN Bachelor of Business degree is a quality program for the start of a dynamic and

exciting business career. It is a fexible business degree which offers a wide range of study
opportunities and subject choices, allowing you to construct a program of study that best
meets your interests and future work plans. You can choose to specialise in Management,
Marketing or International Business. Completion of this course prepares you for employment
in local, national and international companies, government organisations, law practices and in
the flm, television and media felds.
FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
Wentworth Institute (WIN) offers modern facilities for education in business related felds.
Attend face to face lectures in our modern auditorium and work on your projects in our PC
and Mac labs equipped with the latest hardware and software.
Students also have access to a student recreation area with plenty of room to socialise with
friends in a comfortable environment: either outside on our spacious wrap-around verandah
or inside with lounge chairs, microwaves, kitchenette and vending machines for snacks and
drinks.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All applicants are required to meet at least one of the following entry requirements:
Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent or
Satisfactory completion of an approved Tertiary Preparation Program, Tertiary Orientation Program or a Foundation Year
Program offered by an accredited institution of higher education; or
Satisfactory completion of one year of accredited full-time study at an institute of tertiary education; or
Having obtained the age of 21 (Mature Age Entry) and possessing an employment background deemed suitable by the Dean
such as to give the applicant reasonable prospects for completing the degree; or
Having reached a standard of education deemed suitable by the Dean as to be the equivalent of completion of Year 12.

In addition, all students must be 18 years of age or over at the time that they commence.
All international applicants are expected to be profcient in English i.e. have an IELTS overall band
score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5, or equivalent.

To complete the Bachelor of Business, students must complete 8 Core Subjects, 8 Specialisation
Subjects (Management, Marketing OR International Business) and 8 other electives which may be
chosen from any other area including subjects from Professional Accounting and the Bachelor of
Interactive Media. Student may also choose to complete two specialisations.
