P.D.I LIST FOR TB V2.

1. Check for any scratches and dent, specially the exhaust pipe as more likely to be
scratched while handling the bike in the dealers.

2. Check for rusts-
a. On the mirror stalks.
b. On the neck.
C. front fender and underneath the rear fender. There are a few bolts under the rear fender,
check whether they are rusty.
d. Lower Part of the headlight rim.
e. battery and Air filter cover.
f. pass you hands along the rim of the fenders and check whether paint is peeling off any
where.
g. Check the reflectors and see whether they appear swollen or uneven.
h. The exhaust neck.
3. All the electricals working properly.

4. Open the battery cover on the right side and check the Allen wrench.

5. Use the Allen wrench to open the tool box (the chrome ornament mostly the right side)
and check whether tool kit is there.

6. Check whether both, the rider seat and the pillion seats, are tight fit.

7. The reflector on the rear fender is not loose.

8. The rear shock settings are equal on both sides.

9. Check for any hairline cracks around the edges of the meter console.

10.Check all the lights on the meter console is working properly. There is a "light on"
indicator, a "side stand" indicator, "High
beam" indicator, "turn light" Indicator, and an "Hazard" indicator(shaped like a triangle).

11. Turn the ignition key on and lower the side stand couple of times and check whether the
"side stand" indicator is working properly.

12. On turning on the key, the Speedo and the the RPM would go all the way up
simultaneously. If it doesn't .....

13. Check whether handle lock is working properly.

14.Pass your hand around the Spock and check any one is loose.

15. The Disc pads may seem to rub slightly on the plates, don't worry too much. It will even
out in time. However, check for any hard
resistance.

16.All the leds in the rear light should function properly.

17. No. cuts on the tires.

18. Take a short test ride before paying in full. Check for any dis balance or handle pull.

19.After the short test ride, check the engine oil level

20.Check the engine and the chassis no. See whether they are the same as in the
documents provided to you.

21. They would probably be less fuel in the tank, so head directly to the pump. Also check
the tire pressure.

22.When you apply the rear brakes, you will hear a soft humming sound like "krrrrrrr". don't
panic.

23.Check the Indicator studs are not loose.

24. Headlight will be set very low and you would have to ride in high beam before you sort it
out. You can either wait for the first service or DIY.

25. Last, but not the least, You would probably be excited, but keep you head calm and
think rationally about the bike than how you would look riding the bike. Any thing wrong.
bring it to the notice of the dealer there and then.

And yes, I forgot about the foot pegs. Check whether they are snug fit and the rubber is not
peeling off them. Also do the same for the kick starter. You may see some oil on the bush on
the starter lever. Don't panic. It s just over spray of the chain lube. However check the
washer if it bothers you too much.
